Possibly the worst cycle accessory i have seen this year

When I was born I had two attachments fitted, one on each shoulder, specially for signalling on a bike. They are a bit bigger, more visible, no batteries required either.

    Battery question

It's a shame everyone is out of step with Andy. I once had a bike for Andy, a home made steer it one way go the other, made from a Raleigh Grifter with an extra headstock and a couple of gears from a seat belt mechanism. Took me about 2 hours to learn to ride it. Got back on my normal bike and...

Help! Advice on Ebike for chronically ill human

I use toe clips with straps but never tighten the straps, they are just loose enough to fit my foot in and out easily.

    Gear changing?

I've got a Bbs01 on order and getting my head round it all. Mr woosh says I don't need the gear sensor. A couple of hints I've come across, that the gear sensor has a bit of delay, that blipping the brake can cut the power. So what's the craic, what's best?

Last time that I did Blackstone Edge was nigh on 40 years ago, but was a regular but not extremely fit cyclist, immsmr it took me above half an hour, slow and steady. Then I went and watched the milk race tour of Britain go up... Hill, what hill? Same watching the Yorkshire Tour de France come...

    Hello from Littleborough Lancs

Well, I "of" flushed out a fellow pedant, there's much dissent on this one... Fora and forums are plurals of forum. The former conforms to the original Latin, which some people prefer, while others like the Anglicized form. Neither is right or wrong, and choosing between them is mostly a matter...

    Finally took the plunge

For the OP, the bridleways are all doable on a bike, Pennine Bridleway, Mary Townley Loop etc. I live at Calderbrook, above Littleborough and there are lots of tracks around. The reservoir track from the White House Blackstone Edge is a flat ride, but it then becomes the Pennine Way footpath...

    Hello from Littleborough Lancs

Hi, Just joined this and other ebike fora. (there's the first thing to debate the plural of forum!) Got a Bbs01b 250w on order to fit my hybrid bike. I might also try it on my giraffe unicycle. (Not!) I do a mix of off road on local bridleways, canal towpath and roads, a few hills around here too.
