    Battery Advice required

You can go at large as you want on batteries, space and the extra weight are your limiting factors. Lead acid batteries are not a good choice for electric bikes, esp. as you are running a controller designed to be used with a lithium-ion pack. Expect to use about 50% of their capacity before the...

Sanyo NCR18650GA vs Samsung 18650 Cells

It's very close, it will depend how you ride I think. As Neal said, anything over 1 amp, or in the case of your pack, 5 amp draw, the GA's have the advantage.

    Basic Sans charger mods/adjustments.

I think you have to find your own balance with charging, depending on your useage. To me, there is no point charging to 80%, then bouncing on the LVC on the way home, as that will likely degrate your pack faster than charging to say 90% and having some reserve power when you have completed your...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Don't see any point in doing that if you are now happy with the battery. If you have opened the case and broken the warranty seal, they are unlikely to accept the battery being returned anyway.

Sanyo NCR18650GA vs Samsung 18650 Cells

Yeah, both would be fine with the TSDZ2, but i would chose the GA's for the HD. Asking less of the cells also helps to prolong their life, so with the HD motor, the GA's will be working at just over half their max. output, whereas the 35E's would be close to max, and so more stressed.

More current wanted, best/cheapest controller with LCD?

No, don't worry, I don't:), even without understanding the physics, it makes sense to need even numbers.

    Yosepower hub kits.

That doesn't seem too bad, at 36.2v you still have a good amount of power left before the 30/31v cutoff. No pack will ever give it's full stated capacity because it's based on manufacturers testing figures which usually take the cells down to 2.5v, below the LVC on our bikes.

More current wanted, best/cheapest controller with LCD?

OK, thanks AK, I've seen 9 fet KT controllers advertised as sine wave, hence the question. Maybe they're not then.

Sanyo NCR18650GA vs Samsung 18650 Cells

The battery packs you are looking at have 5 parallel cells, so the current draw is shared between them, so at 20 amp draw, each cell supplies 4 amps, 20/5 = 4 amps. At 40amps, 40/5 = 8 amps. At 8 amps you are working even the GA's quite hard, but the only way to avoid this is to add more...

(Halfords) Coyote Connect - Removing Speed Limit

Highly unlikely you will be able to do this, but post some clear photos of the controller and wiring inc all the connectors, and someone will be able to tell you (no you can't).

    Troubleshooting dead battery?

I'm not sure vfr was suggesting that it was fully charged, just that it needed to be 29-42v to take a charge. Just a thought, but it's not a 24v battery is it? Fully charged would be 29.4v. Carry on if you wish, you've nothing to lose and maybe learn some more. One word of caution, those cells...

More current wanted, best/cheapest controller with LCD?

Yeah, there's nothing to beat the KT's for value really. You've caught the power bug haven't you anon4, well done!!:pYou'll be on 72v before you know it. :DBe interested to see how much power that Suntour hub will take before it melts, be careful:)

    Troubleshooting dead battery?

They look like lithium polymer pouch cells, but as you say if they will not hold any charge, then they are useless. bit of a shame, but never mind, nothing ventured and all that.....:)At least you have an idea of what the inside of a battery pack looks like for next time.

Yose Power 350w rear drive - Kit review and stuttering fault

Maybe they are just a little fragile or weak, they have been around for a relatively short amount of time compared to the old disc sensors. I've not pulled one apart yet, so not sure on construction. It's possible one of the magnets has dislodged, causing the stutter, as it would on the disc...

lets finally de restrict the carrera corssfire e bike

Only way to achieve what you want is to replace all of the electric components, bar the battery and motor, and replace with generic items. Quite a bit of work, but it has been done.

Yose Power 350w rear drive - Kit review and stuttering fault

Did you check for free space between outer shell of sensor and crank arm before you removed it? As Neal said, this sensor does seem easily damaged if squeezed on first fitment.

Why does my post make you sad chonka, or is it me?:DI'm not being critical, I'd be really interested in how Darren has developed this motor, as it is not a Bafang product.
