    Clothing in colder weather?

I do have quite a lot of fishing jackets that might work, will just have to try them. I have two that are shell type, and other that are thicker. One is a Paramo, so I will try that first. I do also have a Buffalo jacket, that you pull on and wear next to the skin, but I really don't fancy that...

    Clothing in colder weather?

Does anyone use a down or synthetic gilet in the cold? I've found them wonderful when I've been fishing. I know they don't breath as such, but they are mega warm.

    Clothing in colder weather?

Could anyone give me an idea on what clothing they wear for shorter trips, in this cold weather? I've seen some lined waterproof trousers for around £40. I've got a quality jacket thats waterproof, and windproof. So trousers, gloves, second layer fleece? Can a soft hat go under a helmet? Any...

    Raleigh Stow-Away e-bike?

Thank you, very helpful Stan. One member quoted that because of the electrics and other considerations, that a major problem would only cost £100 maybe? I think it was Neil on a thread about this and the Rambletta bike? Anyway, and problems and its back to my local Halfords?

    Accessories please?

So in your opinion a longer pump is better, even if its a bit of a pain to carry about on your rides?

    Done it and I'm happy.

    Thanks my friend.

    Accessories please?

Guess I'll need a bike pump now, and a puncture repair kit, and suggestions please guys? Are the mini ones any good like the Diyife, Amazon have a deal on, very cheap so any good? I do have an electric car pump for when at home.

    Done it and I'm happy.

So I'd almost decided on the Raleigh Folding bike Stow-way. It suited my pocket, and I just like to look of it, so I decided to visit Halfords today. The bike is advertised at a pound under £1,400, but they have a price match promise, and I've seen the bike at under £1,000. The guy almost had...

    Rambletta or Raleigh Motus

I fully understand this thread now Neal, but can you tell me where the Rambletta comes in in this. Does that not have a Bosh Sensor, and if not what does it have. And one further question please, does it have a twist throttle, that when on full power you can peddle a little, but still get top...

RHB123 Hello. Are you still happy with your Volt bike? The metro is calling me, but it seems to have everything, so no upgrade needed, even though its a bit over my budget?

    Raleigh Stow-Away e-bike?

Has anyone used or brought a Raleigh Stow-Away e-bike please? I cannot find a decent review (independent) on You-Tube as I would like to have done. So I thought I must ask the forum, as I'm sure someone will know something? A few years ago when they came out they were £1300, now they are...

? Any low bridges on the canal, even sorting out a puncture on route. I also thing most of the time my rides will be very short, of just a mile or two. So I'm thinking the D11 will be the one for me. I'm pleased I have until the better weather to make up my mind fully. Thanks for your kind...

I've taken on board the answer you gave me about the two bike's. The Fiido and the Rad, and I'm coming to the conclusion the Rad will be just too heavy for me at my age. Even though I don't think the bike will not be folded, I'll still have to move it about in and out of the garage, and maybe I...

    Slime.

SJPT Interesting thanks for that., Just that at my age, I don't want to struggle with punctures while out on a ride to be honest. I expect the type of tyres you get on cheaper Chinese bikes are the worse, maybe someone will correct me? I'll just have to watch a few more "How to repair a...

Can you put slime in any bike tyre, or is it better the buy tyres that puncture less, if there is such a thing?

    Old Nag

As a novice coming to the forum recently, may I confirm what you're saying Neal? Cheap Chinese bikes are relatively easy to repair oneself? I'm asking as after Christmas, I'm looking at buying Fiido. Thanks buddy. Richard.

Help! Fiido D21 or Woosh Rambletta

I'd add this, if it was just down to looks, I'd take the D21 any-day. But I know nothing about the mechanics, and you have to love a bike if you're going to use it everyday, don't you?

    Fiido D4S Price?

You can see that your experience asks the questions I'd forget to ask. Thanks I'll see what after-service is available with the Rad bike's. After sales support is important to someone like me with little skills in DIY. Grateful for all your kind kelp and support mate.
