+1 for that. The AXA policy does not specifically state that e bikes are covered (I'm also with AXA). I emailed them and asked the question to which I had a reply saying yes they are covered. Keeping that email safe in case it's ever needed later !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you have the manual for the LCD display. Without knowing the exact LCD you have apparently holding down the 'set' and 'down' buttons together may show any error codes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't know if others will agree but you may be better starting with high assistance on your early rides and then lowering it as your fitness improves. If you feel you are not getting any exercise then lower the assist a bit. You can't get fit overnight and trying to use the lower settings may be...

Had another look and the only speed reference I can find is set at 40km/h which is the maximum value allowed. So you are probably correct about it being locked in the controller. The bike will actually do 18.5 mph before the power assistance drops off completely so slightly above the legal limit...

Had a look at quite a few LCD instruction manuals and found that the volt unit firmware is very similar to a king meter KM5S. The king meter default passwords work on the volt unit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So I managed after some online research to access the volt LCD settings. Each battery level bar on the LCD display is assigned a voltage as follows:- 1. 31.0 2. 34.1 3. 35.0 4. 38.0 5. 39.0 These values can be changed. Do they look ok as they are ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

In most cases a warranty on a replacement part runs from the date of the original purchase and is not reset. Best to check with the shop !
