Have you tried putting it somewhere warm (airing cupboard), possibly in a bag of a moisture absorbent (rice / silica gel)? This may bring it back to life if left for a couple of days.

42v is correct for a 36v nominal battery

I'm struggling to source a replacement clutch for my sheng yi rear hub motor. The vast majority available seem to be for bafang and have 36 teeth on the nylon gears. Mine only has 31 teeth and I have yet to see one available as a spare part anywhere. Does anyone know if the metal clutch bodies...

@Cobblers66 did you get this sorted? I think my clutch which looks to be the same as yours (Sheng yi motor) may be developing the same issue.

Brake Discs are normally on the opposite side to the cable. I doubt it would work well with a sharp spinning disk close to the cable !!!

If this helps with your application:- The T06S controller is:52*31*81mm. I asked topbikekit the question when I ordered mine. You need a little more length on the 81mm side for the cables though.

Unless anything has changed the controller and LCD are locked down. I did manage to get the passwords to open the settings but there was little you could change. Do to another fault I eventually changed to a KT sine wave controller and LCD which has proved to be far better than the volt original...
