Gubbins, It was good to change my usual lump of rotten wood bike stand, for another rotten one. ;) SW, the Levo by a long way.

It made a change to take along a different kind of bike stand for this evenings ride.

I wonder how easily that the peak comes off when caught or impacted. I have had several neck jarring incidents where the helmet peak has been caught and ripped off, and I'm rapidly going off having one fitted. I managed to put yet another dent in the top of my Met helmet last week, during the...

No use to IR722. It says at the bottom of the can to "enjoy responsibly"

Not bad afternoon to be out and about. I guess that a little get off was inevitable. eMTB + Clipless + fallen tree = a bit of gentle down time. With a bit more practice, Ali Clarkson will need to watch his back! :D Back there again next week for another go.

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

I don't think that you need be concerned or feel bad about that one Rob. See below, a reference made to high income, high rate tax payers. .

2000 miles done on front sprocket 16 teeth front chain ring

If I am reading this correctly, you have changed the rear cassette, and drive chain, but not the front sprocket? It must be absolutely slaughtered after 2,000 miles of use. If the above is correct, then I am puzzled why you wouldn't have just paid an extra £15.00 for a front sprocket. Problem...

    DJI Mavic drone recording mtbing

Kind of on a similar theme, I have ridden up the start point shown in the clip below, and in July of this year I aim to ride down and along the green covered ridge that is shown mid depth in this clip, starting at the ridge shown to the right hand side at roughly the 20 seconds in point of this...

To be fair to the vehicle driver, we don't know the circumstances behind Mike's death. In respect riding, I had a bit of change today. My bike shop owning friend was running an Orange Bikes demo day, and I kind of felt obliged to go along, especially as Orange had brought along 20 bikes. :) I...

    Chain stretch?

Can't answer for the gear oil, as I have never tried it, but totally agree with your choice of chain. :)

Did you mean that I rode on? :) The only road sections were a couple of side streets an Alfriston, 0.3mile at Exceat and 0.3mile at Bishopestone, yet another 0.3mile at East Deane, one road crossing at Alfriston Road, one at Beachy Head, and one at Piddinghoe. The rest was all off road. :) I...

Out of everything that I have ridden on the SD, that one climb is my least favourite. I don't know what it is about it, but it has me mentally beaten before I have even started. It must be a real pig on a regular mtb, as there is even a gate way at the bottom of the climb, so you can't even get...

    Hole in my Scott

No, as in cable routing. :) A cable sadly won't run freely if the bend or bends are too tight. Make a series of tight bends, and you will have no chance of it working.

    Hole in my Scott

I can't answer for the brand-x model, but I really rate the two Reverb seat posts that I have. Being cable operated, you will never be able to get the tight bends that you can with the hydraulic hose of the Reverb. Gubbins, I presume that is why your cable takes the route that it does. No fault...

    Hole in my Scott

All that I can say from the photos shown, is what a hell of a mess! Why over complicate things. My dropper post hose follows this route. Not shown n this photo, but the cables are also now hidden as well, so looking from the side, there are neither cables or hose showing.
