still not to sure what to make of bosch ebike system

But it would significantly lower the gearing, which would help make life easier. Without a gear chart for reference, by how much would simply be guess work.

That would the equivalent to a 45t regular size sprocket. It could be worth you changing to either a 16t (40t equiv) or even 15t (37t equiv) Or perhaps investigate buying a rear cassette with lower gearing, say one with a low range of 36t. One or even both of the above changes, could make a...

Like you, I'll take high cadence any day of the week over low cadence, especially for hill climbing. High cadence, especially if used in conjunction with using a slightly lower gear than is perhaps required, uses far less energy than slow cadence. I see no reason that this wouldn't transfer...

I have been using one those since Feb of this year. Evans had them on offer at half price. :)

I have permission to ride in about 500 acres (220 hectares) of private woodland, plus another 500 acres adjoining it that I ride in, and spend a lot of time in both, making trails, and trying to keep them clear. The scythe and larger tools stay on site, hidden up, but smaller hand tools are...

Bosch Intuvia for Performance Line or CX motor (not Active or Classic Line)

This sale is for a used Bosch Intuvia system, and is listed for sale due to replacement fitment of Purion. The system operates without fault, but it is to be noted that it has been fitted to an eMTB, and has light marks and scratches from use. The price including tracked delivery to mainland...

Most of the time, simply moving slightly one way or the other will hide a stand. Stand in full view. Move slightly, and it is all but hidden by the frame and tyre. I also often use a telescopic rod stand which is ultra thin and can easily be hidden from shot. Positioning it so that it...

For the sake of about a tenner, can't you just replace them?

I'll give that one a go next time that I have to adjust mine, just to see how the two methods compare.

SW, a more accurate way to check headset bearing adjustment, is to position the front wheel against a wall, and gentle push forward on the top tube. The method suggested by Dave, doesn't remove the free play/feel transmitted from brake pad movement, and in the case of your bike, any movement...

    Local Doctors

I have always felt the drop in surgeries were a brilliant idea, but sadly none of the three surgeries here do it. Appointment can be booked either by walking in and speaking the receptionist, telephoning, if you can ever get through, or simply by booking online. I have never had any problems...

I must admit that I don't use it as much as I was. I like to see what others that I am following are up to, but beyond that my interest in it has gone.

Oddly I thought that I already was following you, but seem to have lost a load of people, and I am having to re add them. I hadn't spotted it until this evening.

Just dropped down to two bars remaining from the second battery. Ten miles were very flat, so not the best of range considering I used tour mode. I did throw some intentionally steep climbs into the mix as well though.

Tubeless or not tubeless...that is the question...

That also raises another point. I wonder how many people actually keep a regular check on their sealant and top it up. Not many I bet. .
