    Expected lifetime of a BBS02

Interesting. Maybe drill a hole on the bottom and put a gore-tex membrane there :)

Charger - Mean Well HLG Led driver

Long time no see.... I finally, after 1.5 years. Have got myself a box to put the display in. Also an upgrade with XT60 connector to be able to connect whatever charge lead I like. Have two different connectors on battery right now.

    Winter DIY - Heated grips

I have tried three different lobsters. And many other glowes. When they get warm enough, they are just too clumsy. I have bad circulation in my hands and feet. But it is normally not a problem. Only when it starts to get really cold. Like when it is -10 Deg C and ebiking, then I want something...

    Winter DIY - Heated grips

Today I increased the power a little. Tuned up to 18 Volt. Have some photos and measurements here to complement the initial post. ! Warning ! The installation is not nice to the eyes, very temporary this, I will have it a few weeks now only :) First we can see the controller and dc-regulator...

    Winter DIY - Heated grips

In time for christmas holiday I have the best DIY fix here. Heated handlebar grips! It is a great thing to do with ebikes, since you have the power. You just need some heat pads and some basic skills to pull it off. I ordered some standard heated pads for motorcycles (or snow mobiles) rated...

    Di2 external power

yes, I have considered that too. But I have a wheel motor so it should be no problem. I found a mighty interesting page on DIY battery pack for the (old) standard Dura Ace Di2: https://tomasklassiker.blogspot.com/2015/03/custom-internal-battery-pack-for-dura.html And this video:

    Di2 external power

Hi! I would like to fit XT Di2 on my ebike with regular battery. Feels like it would be wasted with a Di2 battery when I already have a big battery for motor. I only need a 36V to 7.4V converter. But that is something I would like to get anyway for lights. Is that possible? I mean, easy, only...

    Custom Cube Kathmandu build

Took my trekking bike today, pumped tyres a little extra because I should go to wrong side of town and home again. It was about 85 km total ride. Only 25% battery dropped! Insane capacity on my new pack! It weighs alot though with 100 cells so best suited for touring good roads :)
