    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

So this morning I found a long straight stretch with a gradual incline; keeping this Fiido D11 in a mid gear and with a constant cadence, changing through the power modes of 1, 2, and 3, you can clearly feel the amount of power/assistance/current increasing in each mode - and not being capped by...

Help! its dead pal - whats up with it ?

It's a sunny afternoon... all the usual e-bike experts that frequent this space will likely be out on their steeds. But that gap is too large - maybe 1-2mm would be more usual. Another oft-mentioned problem is dry joints on the key-switch giving intermittent/poor contact. If you hang on a...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

I'm listening. I do hear you. But the video shows him fitting a KT36/48SVPRD-HRD01 (sine) controller into his Fiido D11 with the Xiongda YTW-06 motor. If he's wrecked it, would he still post this video? Or is the HRD01 just a newer version of the XD01-C? He also shows a KT36ZWSR-TY01C (square)...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

For the sake of completeness, I've just found a video tutorial that shows how it can be done with this Fiido D11 e-bike:

    Hi I'm Jason from Bedford

It doesn't need to be so. Yes, the common German "speed pedelec" tackle is obscenely priced. But pretty much any Bafang mid-driven e-bike can not only deliver a reliable 28mph/ 45kph, but in an easy user-programmable way that suits you. It depends if you want a noncey over-priced German name on...

    Cube 2022 e-bikes

The main point is - I think - how much of a Cube (or any so-called "German" branded e-bike) is actually German? You're certainly paying inflated German prices for the perceived quality of precision German engineering... but in reality, the frame is Far Eastern, the Bosch motor, the battery, the...

    Torque sensor replacement

There undoubtedly IS someone with the technical expertise who CAN do the work, but the question is can they be bothered? I hate to sound harsh, but many bike shops just seem to be fed up with people buying bikes online (usually just to save a few quid), but then, when it all goes horribly wrong...

    Cube 2022 e-bikes

The irony is that - as you previously posted in your comment linked here about the Chinese Fuji-Ta factory - both the Cube and Halfords bikes you're citing as examples may well be made in the same factory. Ploughing through Fuji-Ta's corporate video and blog posts, they claim OEM manufacture...

    Ebco m45 help please

What a tragic waste. One of the TranzX dealers I contacted back then - and practically within spitting distance of where you live - wasn't prepared to look at your bike. He was fed up with "cheapskates buying off the internet to save a couple of bob", then loading their problems onto him when...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

That's brilliant Jonah - Thanks. Model KT36ZWSR-XD01C. Hopefully that works with LCD4. I'll check with Xiongda.

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

Yes, good point Neal. Thanks. I'll ask them that too when I email KT/Xiongda: Hopefully something other than the larger LCD3 etc display is workable, as that would be too cumbersome on such a small folder (especially given the rotating handlebar clasp & folding stem).

Looking for light weight step through folding MTB?

That looks an interesting compromise. Nice to see they've strengthened the frame between the seat-post and down-tube given it's purported off-road abilities. Somehow, I can't seeing it actually being 22kg though given its substantial looking frame - and not if you opt for the larger battery...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

Yes, it likely is. Fiido seem to use their own proprietary branded parts almost exclusively (brakes, BB's, saddles, bearings etc etc), including controllers/displays. But most of their bike models seem to use those same interchangeable parts. The controller fitted here is marked "Type D11" -...

    New BBSxx programming software

That's a shame. I have the serial lead and PC software like you (it works with my MaxDrive bike). My phone is Android 10 with USB C. Trouble is that bike is at my other house, so I can't try it for a few weeks yet. My ebay cheapo lead uses a RobotDyn 340G serial chip, while ebikebatteries use a...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

If yours is not readily to hand, please don't go to that trouble. It's enough to know it's not standard, but one is available - thank you for that advice. I can whack off an email to KT and/or Xiongda to ask part numbers/identifiers and then fish around to see if/where one may be available...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

Might it be the "KT36" used with a YTW-06 referenced on the German forum - apparently orderable from Amazon.de? Is there a model or serial no. or identifier you'd have so I'd know what I'm looking for? I did see the comment about Xiongda not dealing with individuals anymore, but they might point...

    KT Controller for Xiongda YTW-06?

I know a couple of members here tried out the Xiongda YTW-06 motor a while back when it first came to market. I'm looking to see if it's feasible to use a current controlled KT with maybe the small LCD4 display? This is a new 20" wheel Fiido D11 folding bike (link). It's pretty basic in many...
