    KT-LCD2, KT-LCD3, KT-LCD6, KT-LCD8, KT-LCD10 replacement button assembly mounting bracket

Hmmm... I wonder if that's due to a slightly-less-than-perpendicular screw/nut engagement that occurs when the bracket is compressed enough for the screw to reach the captive nut. I thought I'd left sufficient play in the screw hole to account for this, but possibly not. Seeing as you were able...

    KT-LCD2, KT-LCD3, KT-LCD6, KT-LCD8, KT-LCD10 replacement button assembly mounting bracket

Thank you for your feedback Neal. Is your button assembly attached to a standard 22.2mm handlebar and did you need a longer screw? The original 13mm screw should be long enough for a standard handlebar.

For single quantities, Aliexpress is your best bet for the lowest possible price. I will not have a firm cost for my own stock until I have worked out my own tax liabilities on it. I hope to be able to offer a lower price than the currently listed price on my own listings, once the shipment has...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Looks like you were right and the OP had the same firmware as documented in your user manual. It's strange that different firmware versions differ so greatly. I'm currently awaiting another batch of KT-LCD4 displays from a new supplier, so it will be interesting to see what firmware they come...

    Anybody got any ideas please?

I had suspected that you'd purchased the controller and LCD display from myself from your description of them. I've just identified you from your purchase a moment ago, thank you. Let me (us) know if you need any assistance with the hall sensor replacement procedure.

    Anybody got any ideas please?

The yellow hall sensor has failed and requires replacing. The correct sensor type is SS41F. I have them available for sale here: https://torquetech.co.uk/collections/miscellaneous/products/6x-bipolar-hall-effect-sensor-41f-ss41-sh41-ss41f-electric-bike-motor-repair?variant=10154888986671 They...

    KT-LCD2, KT-LCD3, KT-LCD6, KT-LCD8, KT-LCD10 replacement button assembly mounting bracket

Thank you. If anyone else needs a replacement bracket free-of-charge, now is the time to request one. The STL file will eventually be published, allowing anyone with a 3D printer to fabricate their own. The brackets will also be available to purchase for around £4, delivered within the UK...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Where is that screenshot taken from? It's certainly not the standard KT-LCD4 firmware implementation. All the units I've seen and stocked follow the usual KT custom parameter schema. Have you seen the user manual I posted? It differs greatly from your screenshots, with P3 defining PAS as...

    KT-LCD2, KT-LCD3, KT-LCD6, KT-LCD8, KT-LCD10 replacement button assembly mounting bracket

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to hear that you are happy with the repair. I'm also pleased that I managed to nail the design on the first attempt - that's quite a rare occurrence with 3D printing. Would you object to me using your photos to demonstrate the bracket in use?

I wouldn't be so sure, as that's not the full custom parameter schema for the KT-LCD4. The following user manual shows all the available options of the unlimited firmware: http://www.szktdz.com/upload/file/20200616/20200616110846_74701.pdf As before, I'm pretty sure that C4=3 will solve the issue.

Are you sure? I think you should re-read the question (post 1567). I stand by my original answer which will give full speed throttle, regardless of the PAS level. FYI, the setting that limits the throttle to the currently selected PAS level is C4=4.

Setting custom parameter C4 to '3' should solve your issue.

    Anybody got any ideas please?

Before doing anything, you should reset the LCD display to factory default by setting custom parameter C10 to 'Y'. Then, confirm that the motor hall connector is fully seated and that the individual terminals are properly mated and have not backed out of the connector housing. Next, carry out...

    KT-LCD2, KT-LCD3, KT-LCD6, KT-LCD8, KT-LCD10 replacement button assembly mounting bracket

Yes, it's something I have considered, but decided it would be too time intensive due to the wide variation of component and frame dimensions and therefore prohibitively expensive. Anything involving one-off fabrication is not of interest to me as a commercial operation. There are already 100's...

Good suggestion, thanks. There should be room for a small fillet there if I leave a cutout for the screw head.

    KT-LCD2, KT-LCD3, KT-LCD6, KT-LCD8, KT-LCD10 replacement button assembly mounting bracket

Yep. You'll have to remove the remaining portion of the bracket to make room for the replacement though. Just PM'd you.
