Charger - Mean Well HLG Led driver

I've heard lots of good things about the Gophert bench supplies, but as a portable charger, they're not as suitable as Meanwell HLG power supplies. The HLG series are fully potted for protection against moisture and shock/vibration. I know of a few people who have each had them permanently...

PDQ wheelchair trike direct drive advice

As well as reverse direction, direct drive motors are also often used on mobility aids for their regenerative braking capability, used to control descents without the need for physical brakes.

    18650 cell question

If you've only got a couple of odd Sony cells, you won't be able to do anything with them unless you plan to build a 2S or 3S pack. Best forget the idea.

    18650 cell question

It's a perfectly reasonable strategy as long as your parallel groups are of equal capacity. How many cells of each type do you have? What sort of pack configuration do you have in mind?

Blimey, that's good value. You can't even send a UK inland parcel for that.

From what age can you carry a baby ?

I carried my firstborn in a trailer from the age of 18 months, but she was a late developer with poor core strength. Helmet worn at all times, buckled into the trailer harness. My younger daughter seems particularly strong for her age and I can definitely foresee sticking her in a trailer at...

Yes they can. I've owned a few and they've all been able to charge/discharge 1S.

    18650 cell question

Are the button top cells you talk of 10000mAh Ultrafires by any chance? You need to be very specific when discussing 18650 cells, since there's a lot of crap out there.

    Tinging sound coming from somewhere!

Have you checked your spokes? I have experienced a similar noise previously and a drop of oil to where the spokes cross solved it.

    Insat battery voltage sag

Sorry d8, my crystal ball is broken at the moment. I don't think it generally does increase the amount of wiring - there's only a single cable that runs between the CA and controller after all. It does affect where the wiring goes though, since all inputs connect to the CA, rather than the...

    Insat battery voltage sag

There really is too much to list. Some of my favourites include: Temperature monitoring; Thermal rollback; Throttle & PAS ramping; Throttle input & output remapping; Simultaneous speed, current & power limiting; Dual analogue & digital auxiliary controls; Custom presets; LVC power rollback...
