Woosh Santana.. A rose or a thorn?

Thanks for the review Dave , looks very good value for money . I like the attention to detail , note the reflector on the propstand . Shame you couldn`t have ridden it until the battery ran out . Perhaps Hatti could do a few circuits of Southend or ride it South London to show Eddieo . Make the...

I don`t know about that price point Dave , there are some on here gagging to spend over £2000 .

    E-Bikes, the cost case

Very good point Flecc about Scooters and Light Motorcycles being better value for certain trips . I still have my 50 cc Suzuki that I bought over 30 years ago and it still goes well and is probably worth more now than when I bought it . I am now retired so don`t need to go anywhere in particular...

    Spot the difference...

The Ebike Market here is very much like the Scooter market in the UK . It is too small for Manufacturers to bother with when compared to the Continent , particularly Italy and Spain . The only ones that try with the smaller machines are the Chinese . The equivalent Continental ones are expensive...

David I`m a Member of this Forum and I don`t know what Hatti is doing and why she is doing it apart from running a business selling Ebikes . Have I missed something ?

    Spot the difference...

Yes Morphix I agree with your reasoning but how do we know that this particular machine is a copy . Bicycles since the Penny Farthing have tended to look the same with two wheels and a frame with small variations here and there . In the pictures I looked at ,the Sirocco seems to have a more...

    Spot the difference...

I can`t believe what I`m reading under this topic .We have a comparison of two machines , one cheaper and the other more than twice the price and the sixth reply is talking of legal action . Both Organisations are Members of this Forum , so whatever the merits of the machines they both appeal to...

A Business opportunity for Hatti ?

Eddie you`ve lived in London too long ? Down here £2000 would buy you a quarter of a house .

A Business opportunity for Hatti ?

Here`s a Business opportunity for you Hatti . For the last few days we have had tales of woe from purchasers of high end Ebikes . What about offering them £50 part-ex for their Haibike , KTM , Bosch motor etc and let them Woosh away on one of yours ? You could give the bits back to the Purveyors...

Tonaro and Momentum reviews in new A to B issue 92

Obviously these bike designers aren`t getting it .In early Engineering training I was led to believe that a shock load was twice the normal load .This must apply to chains as well .

Tonaro and Momentum reviews in new A to B issue 92

Thanks for the information Dave , they have lofty ideals according to the blurb . It would be better if they used a 12Ah battery to improve the range , especially after the 9Ah one degrades with use . I`m sure if the Principals came onto this Forum we could suggest some improvements .

Tonaro and Momentum reviews in new A to B issue 92

Nothing annoys me more than a site that won`t mention where they are based or a contact name . A few technical details would also help . If they want over £1000 of my money I`d like to know who`s receiving it ! .

Tonaro and Momentum reviews in new A to B issue 92

The A to B Magazine was mentioned in a Saturday Motoring Section of the Telegraph concerning the Knighton Event and this triggered my interest in Ebikes . I tried to find a copy in Smiths the News Agents and then found out it was by Subscription only and didn`t bother . When I looked online they...

Who wants to review the new Woosh Santana?

Pity you couldn`t ride it or should it be Woosh it down to Barry Hatti. My twin Brother is thinking of an Ebike and the Sant Ana was one model together with your Sundowner that looks to fit the bill . I`m not sure the 28 inch wheel and sprung seat post of the latter would enable a 5ft 7in 74...

Latest lock suggestions please for new ebike owners

If only the Police would set up a decoy at that Station .They are doing that with Motorcycles in Nottinghamshire according to Motor Cycle News following a spate of thefts . An Ebike decoy would be easy , take out the batteries and put a Tracker and camera in the casing , give it an attractive...

    Electric cars 'pose environmental threat'

The skills are being lost in lots of Industries as they are transferred abroad , weaving and the garment trade , coal mining , TV manufacturing , radios etc . Who will teach the new generation to wield a pick or work up a sweat ?

Latest lock suggestions please for new ebike owners

Rob, angle grinders go through street furniture poles as well , as a motorcyclist found out . Better make it a lamp standard eg. as you suggested , the larger diameter the better . I seem to remember someone suggesting a Tracker on here . If too many Ebikes go missing I can see the Insurance...

Kudos cycles – road shows, 2013

I can`t understand why Dyson hasn`t had a shot at producing an Ebike , they use ingredients like motors , belts and plastics . He`s always banging on about producing more Engineers and then exports his production to Malaysia . He has plenty employed here on R&D , an Ebike should be a Friday...

Does anyone know a Redbridge Cycling venue located in the north of England?

What about the Celtic fringe ? There`s a lovely circuit at Aberdare Park that`s used once a year for Motorcycle Races .It includes a paddock and a hill . Come to think of it , electric bike races would be possible too . Myself and Mike Killay , the only Ebikers in S.Wales could attend .

    Electric cars 'pose environmental threat'

Look on the bright side ( although it might be dim ) and they might switch off TV transmissions like they did in the 60`s . Transmit a few hours in the afternoon , nothing from 5-7 pm , then more until 11 pm and that`s it . Just think of the junk you won`t see and feel sorry for all the Luvvies...
