Good question. My guess is when both spot welding pins touch the metal it makes the circuit and does the spot weld. There is a setting where you can delay that to whatever time gap you want. You have to change it to manual mode i.e. the default is always auto.

Only front motors and none with disc brake fittings. I have just purchased a Q100 CST rear motor with cassette fitting. This will be my first rear build :)

No 112 was better but after looking around I found your details on ES I think and used 14 * 16 = 224 which is even better.

Yes changing the P1 setting has improved it alot. That TA is one I purchased years ago from a supplier on here. I think it was for a front wheel ? It may still fit. The rack has a spacer on it so if I take that off, drill a hole in the TA and then put the stay over it. I will give it a go...

Its in the aluminium frame droppout bolted in. I will take it off tomorrow and take a pic. Re the TA arm that makes sense, good call, As Ben said would be easier to put it on the other side?
