    Juicy folder

Hi, My wife is pretty much the same as yours she fell off and refused to ride her Kudos Safari, said it was too heavy. I sold it last week for £425, had less than 100 miles, she rode it twice, always garaged and charged monthly, it was like new. Sooooo, looking for a much lighter electric...

£425 ono Kudos Safari ridden twice - wife not a cyclist

I bought a new Kudos Safari for the wife a year ago for £695, she's ridden it twice and she's told me she'll never ride another bike again. Battery has been charged every month, bike kept in garage. Picture of assembled bike after delivery.

Using bike as static fitness ride in Winter

Thanks Trex- I suppose so-bit bloomin' elaborate though at nearly £40 I'll have to wait for my next birthday-turned 65 last month. I was thinking more along the lines of modifying the roller brakes! Cheers Tony

Using bike as static fitness ride in Winter

Can anyone help me with this please? I have a Whoosh Sunbear and when it's miserable outside I'd like to be able to use it as a fitness machine. I've ordered a small bike stand as per the accessories part of this forum...

BB was great, has anyone on here seen Banshee? Pretty violent stuff but very gritty. 'Fraid it's another colonial effort 'though. Tony

    Thule pin adapter/socket

Don't buy the Thule adaptor, it will cost you and arm and 2 legs. Go to Halfords for the same adaptor, much cheaper-or on-line ebay etc. Tony

    Chris Evans & Top Gear

I'm not so sure about poor revenues. This show has a massive following world-wide and is widely available on peer-to-peer networks with a popularity rivalling Arrow and Game of Thrones. In Australia where I've just spent 33 years, there is a fanatical hard-core following and it is extremely...

What Election Result would have been with PR

As a returning ex-pat that's been overseas for 33 years, it seems to me the experiment the labour party started with Tony Blair's "new labour" to gain the middle ground of UK politics has lost it's way and only succeeded in alienating it's own grass root membership. I agree with you Flecc that...

What Election Result would have been with PR

We have proportional representation AND compulsory voting with all elections being held on the week-end in Australia. Even there they have 3 tiers of government, local councils, State governments and the Federal government. There has been a move to abolish the states which has been vigorously...

Wow Trex- That is some contraption! What the hell is it? Excuse my ignorance, but is it some sort of sprung-loaded torture device? Going now to google it and find out what it does! Tony.

Pete- Thanks for your experience re-saddles. The Sunbear is the same as a Bigbear but as a step-through configuration. It has the same 500w hub motor and 15ah battery. The throttle is on the left. To be honest I rarely use it though, I mainly use the pedelec assist on level 1 except in a...

Thanks for the suggestion John, I have been looking at their websites, but neither do a wide saddle. The widest they have is just over 215mm. and trumpet them as extra wide! I have a damaged coccyx from a soccer injury and need a saddle at least 250 mm wide. I suppose I'll just have to keep...

I'm new to this myself, and last month bought a Whoosh Sunbear for myself and a Kudos Safari for my wife. I've been on the bike a few times now and I can say I'm actually enjoying the experience. These are fairly low-end bikes pricewise, but both have everything we need. I plumped for the...

Wightrider- The tyres fitted to my new bike are Kenda 700C by 38mm, and the wife's 26" x 2.125 'fat' section tyres will they be troublesome? Tony
