Try turning the bars 180 degrees. If you've loosened them for storage it's easy to turn them back the wrong way and have the forks the wrong way round. If the disc brake is on the right, then there lays your problem.

No experience of buying from them, but they are advertised as being EM3ev built batteries. I'm sure both companies would be happy to confirm they are genuine if you ask them.

Does this mean you have replaced the 48v battery with a 36v one? It might explain why you are having problems.

The smart bms on the Em3ev batteries ballances as it charges, so should allow part charging and still keep the cells in check. You may save some cash getting your Em3ev battery from Eclipsebikes in the UK, although it looks like they only stock the 14S5P Jumbo shark in 52v...

In that case your battery will only run the controller you already have. To run that motor well with the 35 amp controller you linked to, you need a 48v battery with cells and bms capable of supplying 40 amps.

You need to ask your battery builder the continuous current rating of the bms he's fitted in it.

You can't fit an ordinary crankset on your motor, the arm and chainwheel are seperate items. Problem is that prices have changed on parts in the last few months. The chainring adapter I bought last year for £12 is now around £35 and a cheap chainring which was £10 is now £25...

File the outer edge of one end of your spacer to reduce it's diameter. Fit this end against the bearing. You really need a 14mm ID spacer so it stays central on the axle. this should do the job when cut to correct length...

I've upgraded the controllers on a few of this style of bike and I agree it is a very tight fit to get everything back in the compartment. You need to use all the available space, which means putting some of the connectors and wiring behind the controller and battery connector before fitting it...
