    Fitting a new controller Display

Can't really tell much from that photo, but assuming your motor has hall sensors, then it should do the job. You may have to change connectors or do some soldering. Looks like it may have self learning wires to sinc. the motor.

    Fitting a new controller Display

The new display is not compatible with your controller, hence limited function of PAS. Unless you can get an original display you will need to replace the display and controller box as a matching pair. Your new display is an analog one, I don't think you will find a controller to match it.

    Cheap avoid or ok?

Yes, they are technically illegal, although identical to other motors marked at 250w, it's a marketing thing. As long as you comply with the 15.5 mph assisted speed restriction, you would be very unlucky to land in any trouble, but this is obviously your own decision to make.

    Stuck in reverse

Looks like the vendors offer of a new controller is the way to go, shipping can be within 2 weeks, but sometimes longer.

I posted a thread a few days ago about Yosepower battery prices being reduced...never mind.

    Battery Info.Please

We refer to this as voltage sag and it does tend to increase as the battery ages. You will find that as it depletes and the battery voltage decreases, the bike may cut out until the voltage recovers. Using lower power levels and minimal throttle, if you have one, you will suffer this effect less...

    Over Volting a Yose 350w hub....Newby questions.

AKM100 is 100mm diameter, 128 is 128mm. Yes, chose 100 to keep the weight down. 128 would be fine run at 22a, prob. OK at more. Keep the 100 20a max. Postage is a bit of a killer, It's gone up a lot in last couple of years.

Bike cutting out when battery on 3 bars

You could enquire with this guy, he's a forum member and has been building bikes and batteries for a few years now. A few of his satisfied customers have posted here. Tell him the spec of your bike and the fact you ride on throttle only, he may be able to help you. https://eequalspower.co.uk/

    Over Volting a Yose 350w hub....Newby questions.

I do have a 36v AKM100H and the KT 6 fet 20a controller running 48v fitted to one of my bikes, it doesn't get used a great deal, but has not let me down and performs very well. It's about the diameter of a 34T sprocket, so nice and discrete. They have been around for at least 10 years and...

    Over Volting a Yose 350w hub....Newby questions.

If you plan on replacing the controller straight away, then buying the Yose kit would be a bit of a waste of money. Have a look at Topbikekit, they do the Q/AKM motors which are pretty good and they can also supply any spares parts you may need in the future, which is a great bonus. The AKM100...

I should come clean and say this machine is NOT mine, I've not completely lost the plot.o_OWTF was my first reaction and thought it would provide some entertainment for the forum.
