    Battery Re-Celling

Hi. Does anyone know of someone who does battery re-celling? I knew a chap who did a couple for me, both worked really well, but it appears he's now got a full time job and no longer does this. Alternatively, anyone got a spare, good battery for a Freego Hawk electric bike? Thanks peeps

    Help! No Notifications

I didn't know that. Thanks. However, it doesn't answer my original question why I still don't receive email notifications when someone posts a reply, just the same as this, even though the notification box it ticked when the question is posted? The only reason I know you have replied is because...

Wisper A bit of advice please

Wow! That sounds very complicated. I simply don't understand most of what you've mentioned? Cascading Style Sheets? Javascript? Page Source Codes? Images are just on my desktop. I usually just upload and that is that? I'm far too old for this modern tech stuff!

Wisper A bit of advice please

Yes. I was thinking that myself. But, as it's such an old bike, I thought I could either rebuild it or use some of the parts on my other bike possibly?

I don't know how to insert a photo in a private message. It just keeps showing a box with 'http..' in it. Thought I just be able to insert the image?

Wisper A bit of advice please

Hi David. Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry but I'm afraid I can't. Its a bike thats currently for sale local to me. I was thinking about buying it as a project but the battery and keys are missing. Hence my question. I can only show a picture of the 'for sale' post which I'll PM to you now...

    Help! No Notifications

Hi Admin. Can you tell me why I don't receive email notifications from my posts even though the boxes are ticked. This as been an issue for quite some time. I have to try and remember what, and where I've posted and then trawl though for any replies. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Wisper A bit of advice please

Hi. Thanks for reply. It is from Marketplace and the guy said he bought it from a car boot. It could be questionable? Or do I trust him? The battery is missing and so are the keys. Alarm bells ringing! However, I could still risk buying and rebuilding it.

Hi again fellow Pedelecers. Does anyone know if the battery lock, barrel and keys are replaceable on a Wisper Works 805fe bike?

    Help! Batribike Advice Please

OK. I am going to take a look at it a little later on today. I was hoping it may just be the controller box at fault? But who knows until delving deeper. Just as a point of interest. The last recell I had done was just £80. About a third of the cost of a replacement battery for my current bike.

    Help! Batribike Advice Please

As far as I can tell from the photos it is a Batribike Diamond step-through. I've attached an image of this. I do know a guy who recells batteries at a competitive price. In fact he did the one on my current E-Plus bike. I'll have to contact him to see if he is still doing them?

    Help! Batribike Advice Please

Afternoon fellow Pedelecers. Just a quick question. I'm thinking of buying a second hand Batribike Diamond step through electric bike, as I'm now struggling to get my 'leg over'. In more ways that one. Ha. Ha. :D Joking aside. This bike as a problem insomuch as the pedal assist and throttle no...

Help! A Bit Of Advise Please

Thanks for that information. The ones I purchased were supposed to be 53mm wide but weren't. I've been thinking of putting some SKS Rowdy kids bike mudguards on?

Help! A Bit Of Advise Please

Just an update. I purchased some Bluemels SPB 20" x 53mm mudguards but they're exactly the same as the originals and don't fit. They're supposed to be wider but they are the same width. If anyone is considering using these then my advice is don't. Unless you're sure they will fit.

Help! A Bit Of Advise Please

Evening peeps. Further to my previous posts, and your very kind responses, I have decided to fit some 20 x 1.95 BMX tyres to my electric bike. But to do so, I had to remove the factory fitted mudguards due to their profile, extra width and knobbly tread pattern. These may not be the choice of...
