    Wisper eMTB sneak preview

Personally I'm not that keen on the fully integrated battery design that you are talking about. I don't relish the prospect of having to remove a potentially wet and muddy battery housing, or even battery in wet muddy UK conditions, and then there is the prospect of having to store an even...

    Steering limiter

I have exactly the same one, and find it an extremely useful addition to the home workshop as well.

Nealh, where is the location of the tank?

Very nice ride, and very envious of the elevation gain as well. I'm already missing the climbing. :(

    Wisper eMTB sneak preview

Are you going to actually fit the right length of dropper post, or the wrong length as shown? I fail to see how any opinions can be put forward in respect of the bike, until detailed geometry specification has been shown, along with full component spec and frame sizes. Other than pointing out...

Now that is an epic climb. :D As for the Isle of Skye, I really love the North West coastline of Scotland. Easily as beautiful as the Alps, but just in a different way. Enjoy your trip. :)

    Expected lifetime for bike pump

I have been using a Topeak Mountain Morph with great success for a number of years, but also have a Lezyne pump that I found on the South Downs. The Lezyne pump has better feel and quality about it, but I shall just continue using the Topeak pump, as the air chamber is bigger. With a plus size...

No point until the next trip. 15T is fine for my UK riding. :)

By memory, I think that it was you that first put that suggestion forward. After struggling with the issue on each of the Bosch powered bikes that I have owned, it was a very welcome tip/handy hint. :) Last year in the Alps it was a complete nightmare on the few occasions that I needed to walk...

SW, I took a slightly different route down from the route up, and by memory, it was about 11 miles of almost continuous down hill riding. And yep, the brake pads were well and truly worn out by the end of the holiday, and my new brake discs sadly don't look new anymore. :( What did fascinate...

For all I know, I might be the only person to have ever ridden up this. :D I was just being too tight to pay.:D There are certainly two other people who have recorded and posted clips of riding down though, but both took the cable car up. I guess that there must be many more as well.

My daughter marching off to inspect the route that I had just climbed. Not a bad view. A long drop. :)

Time to start to piece together a few of the rides from the recent trip to the Swiss Alps. This particular ride which was a climb of 10.2 miles (16.41km) with an elevation gain of 6,354ft (1,936m) started in the Lauterbrunnen valley, and finished at the cable car station of Birg. The intention...

    Hard tail or full sus

Not that it is any of your business, but the reason that I took the FS eMTB to the Alps, is because I am taking delivery of a new hardtail at some stage over the next week. Had the new bike of been here, I would have taken that instead! Why are you comparing the average eMTB rider with Nino...

24 hour mtb xc race (no power!)

You are going to require a decent set of lights, that's for certain. Hydration and nourishment would be some way up on my list of requirements, as would some elete Citrilyte. I suffer from cramp over long distance riding and I found that elete prevents it from happening.

    Hard tail or full sus

Owning both a hardtail eMTB and full suspension eMTB, that isn't something that I would agree with.

That is just a mole hill. Any ride stats?

    Braking power

I'd bin the cheap Chinese pads and buy OE Shimano pads again.
