    Controller for viking freedom ebike

You've given lots of details, but it's not the details we need, unfortunately. Firstly, the circumstances when it failed. Was she riding the bike? If so, was she going uphill, downhill? Did she stop at traffic lights, then it wouldn't go or what? Can I make a suggestion about the Cambridge...

    BBS02 Won't stay on

The question is whether any of the wires short together. If not, that can't be the cause unless one is broken inside the insulation. You still didn't answer my previous question.

    Controller for viking freedom ebike

Let's take a step back. First of all, we are not Viking technicians with computers full of part numbers. What we are is guys that know about bikes like yours and how to fix them. We don't get anything for our time. We're just guys on the internet that like to help people. There are several...

Hi, and need to adjust BBSO1B

The gearing is easy. just get a cassette/freewheel with more teeth on the bottom gear. We can't help without knowing what you have.

8fun hub motor making clicking sound

Yes, you only have to remove all the nuts from the axle. There might be one inside the freehub. Show a picture pointing in if you're not sure. Then you undo the 6 screws and tap the axle through from the other side of where the screws are.

Did the problem stat when you crushed the cable? if not, when and how did it start?

8fun hub motor making clicking sound

It's probably just rust. My Q128 did that when I didn't use it for a long time (5 months). When I started using it again, it went away after about 50 miles - getting better all the time. If you're worried, open it up. the problem should be obvious when you look inside. If it's getting worse...

    Battery Voltage

The discharge curve isn't quite linear, so it's difficult to extrapolate. Roughly, when you get down to 48v, you're about 60% of the way down as long as you don't run too much with high power after that, otherwise maybe 65%. If you pedalled exactly the same over the same route for the rest of...

A mystery rear motor with 36V controller and 48V battery

Motors don't have a voltage. The two important characteristics are the size and the speed. Lift the wheel off the ground and spin it up to full speed. make a note of the speed, then measure the battery voltage. Assuming a 26" wheel and that your speed is set correctly: Motor KV = rpm/volt =...

    Dead Battery with Controller

What happens is that the motor draws a higher current (and watts) while it accellerates up to speed, then it settles down when it gets there. I need the watts when it's running at constant high speed. Your 60 seems a bit high, but it's not clear at what point you took it.

    Sram Battery

It could be anything from a remote switch to full comms asking about state of charge, etc. I don't know that system. If a controller is connected to a battery by only two wires, then you can use any battery of the correct voltage, but when there are more than 2, you can't.

    Controller for viking freedom ebike

Don't buy anything yet. You haven't given enough information. We need to know if your motor is sensored or sensorless. How many wires in the motor cable? Why do you want a new controller? Have you found a fault that you tested as being in the controller?

    Sram Battery

I would say that there's a 95% chance that your plan won't work due to handshaking between the controller and battery, which a dumb battery won't be able to to. You can test for that with any voltage source that matches somewhere in the range of normal battery voltage (22v-29v for 24v battery...

    Electric Trike Conversion

You have to choose a motor with the correct rpm. The rpm depends on voltage. 320 rpm would give around 18 mph. 260 rpm would be around 15 mph. You have to choose the speed carefully because a fast motor doesn't run efficiently, so if you spend most of the time in the range of 10 mph, a 20 mph...

    Help! Freego Hawk no power

That would mean that the hall sensors in the motor are blown. It's possible that heat damaged them when you were going too slow up the hill. Other possibilities are that the wires in the controller compartment melted, but you would have seen that, or the motor cable is damaged and one of the...
