Mycle classic step through, Ampere deluxe, Volt Kensington, Juicy Malva?

Ah! Yes. Sorry. My bad! Because you already have a Seago folding bike, I assumed it was the folding Mycle you were looking at. Just looking at the Classic now, it does look very well spec'd for the price; disc brakes, Shimano Tourney 7-speed derailleur, 9.6Ah LG celled battery, KT current...

Mycle classic step through, Ampere deluxe, Volt Kensington, Juicy Malva?

The Mycle's been discussed before (if you do a forum search). The Estarli with a little bigger battery looks the same. I think it looks an okay package for the money. It's got some nice features: decent cells, KT controller (apparently), mudguards and rack, disc brakes... The only issues for me...

    Mirider 1 wheel circumference change

I'd think that's really down to a lack of gears? My Fiido D11 20" wheel 250w with 7-speed gears manages 18mph assisted on the flat and is pretty fair climbing hills too (using the gears). Did you consider the Onebot S6L? The "L" version is fundamentally the same bike based on the normal Onebot...

    Wanted New battery

My betting is the OP's battery (and likely everything else fitted to their bike) is generic and easily replaceable. All the poster needs to do is post a pic so we can see what's needed, and there'll be any number of members here who'll know exactly where to buy one... and likely for far less...

    Fiido X frame breakage

LitePro make a range of small-wheeled bikes, but by far the majority of their catalogue is parts made exclusively "for Brompton" bikes. It's only a small step to combine those two core activities and make a complete Brompton bike. Both the 3 and 6 speed certainly are cheap (by comparison to...

    Fiido X frame breakage

What's really strange about that Brompton story is they don't seem to be doing anything about this blatant copy?

Seago CityLite Pro folding ebike - folding handlebar hinge “worn out”

Unfortunately, Dahon folding bikes have suffered their fair share of fatigue, fractures, and frame failures too - just google "dahon frame fracture" for a selection... and they suffer wobbling handlebar stems too here. That link may help the OP... I've seen that same problem on other makes too.

    Fiido X frame breakage

The bike owner has posted maybe about a dozen or so shots he took at the time and in the location of the incident (maybe a week ago now) from all angles on the Fiido Owners Group facebook page: I suspect he took them to prove what happened to Fiido and make a claim. There're several close-up...

    peugeot ec03-200 intermittent fault

The other thing it could be (I see it's a front hub motor with PAS): There should be a sensor on the crank that sends a signal to the controller so that when the pedals are turned the motor applies power. One part is most often a magnet disc - just check to ensure it's evenly spaced from the...

Seago CityLite Pro folding ebike - folding handlebar hinge “worn out”

I don't know if it's "common", but I've read of a couple of similar cases on folding bikes with tall stems. In one case, it was the headset bearings had worked themselves loose, and over time the neglect/lack of attention (retightening the locking collar) had resulted in the bearings being...

    peugeot ec03-200 intermittent fault

Checking the web, the bike dates from 2017. How many miles has the bike done? It superficially sounds to me as if the battery is worn out, which is normal after 5 years, especially if A) it's been neglected or B) used heavily/quite frequently. It may appear to be fully charged, but the...

Halfords - coyote connect folding bike

That's one of the main reasons why your MiRider bike is 2 to 3 times the price of the Onebot S6 it's based on: It has a KT controller. The asker could likely easily change his basic speed controller to a KT for less than £100, which is all MiRider do.

That frame is guaranteed to fail if he leaves his bike there across the railway tracks.

    Fiido X frame breakage

Yes, that was origionally posted on facebook. It was a brand new bike (ridden just 50km). I'm no engineer, but the owner's close-up photos of the frame cross-section did appear to have casting flaws. Fiido removed it from sale immediately. AFAIK, all sales are despatched from Fiido's own...

I think I may have talked myself out of buying an electric bike………for now anyway.

I tried that approach, and found it a thoroughly demoralising experience. Whereas in the early 2000's when I last rode my then quite expensive and newish manual hybrid bike, I could quite easily and enjoyably cycle 20 or 25 miles. Here I was 16 years later, and even 5 miles winded and crippled...

    Side Stand needed.

Welcome John. Pretty sure one of Halfords own kickstands is likely to work - they have a few to choose from here. Check to see if there's a kickstand mounting plate on the frame which narrows down what will work best.

I think I may have talked myself out of buying an electric bike………for now anyway.

I agree with what's been said above... Nearly all folding e-bikes at the £1000 level are made from parts sourced from the far-east, even if some brands like Woosh and Mycle are screwing them together here in the UK. The 120kg quoted weight limit isn't optimistic. I've regularly had 130kg+ on...

Can I get a computer for my 26" Elife fold up electric bike

... or pack the sensor so it sits closer to the spokes; double sided foam adhesive tape works well. Of all those I've fitted, it was just a case of finding where on the leg of the fork to fit the sensor since the spokes are closer to the leg towards the bottom where the axle is and further away...

    Eco Expedition bike

My neighbour has one. As said, there's nothing on it that can't be repaired or replaced - electrical or mechanical. As also said, you need to say/show what needs fixing because there were various changes over its production life where various parts were changed/upgraded over time.

    Quoted v actual range

When you say "MiRider 1", is that the older version with alloy wheels and the smaller battery, or the later version with spoked wheels, more powerful motor and slightly larger battery? I couldn't imagine attempting 18 miles on any bike with 16" wheels... 10 miles on my 20" is far enough!
