Woosh Big Bear snapped fork, needs replacing

Probably, the wheel was taken off and the nuts not tightened properly. Did it have the torque arms on when they broke, or did someone take them off without realising their necessity?

250w motors are very strong and will give all the power you need. It's the controller that decides how much power it gets and converts into motive power.

Carerra vengeance 2.0 battery data lines.

I'd chuck the controller and torque sensor arrangement and fit a KT controller with normal PAS and throttle, then you'd be master of your own destiny.

Do the self-learning. You might have a false positive connection sequence that works but not efficiently.

    Woosh Woosh Santana 3 Review

That's nearly £7000 you saved by not getting the R&M! With the money left over, you could buy a nice brand new Honda Forza and go on a luxury holiday, or support about 3 families in poor countries, like Bali, for a year while they can't make any money due to tourist restrictions, so are becoming...

In principle, you can use any controller with its matching LCD. Upgrading to a KT one will make your bike much nicer to ride. You'll have to do a bit of wiring and probably some soldering to wires.

Do you have the two self-learning wires and did you do the self-learning procedure?

E-Bike recommendations for my wife with MS

The problem with trikes is that they have difficulty with uneven surfaces, like where you want to go. When an outside wheel goes over a bump, it tips the wrole trike. That tipping can be very violent if the left wheel gows over a bump soon after the right one. Trikes are not too bad on even...

New Battery died after only 30 miles?

Regen is generally very bad for most batteries, depending on how it's regulated. Those batteries should be charged at about 2A. On a steep downhill or using EABS, you could go ten times that if the regen is unregulated. The other thing is that regen charges through the discharge terminals, which...

E-Bike recommendations for my wife with MS

Stabilisers wouldn’t work. They stop you from leaning over to go round corners. They're for kids that go very slow and have a low centre of gravity. Even trikes can be dangerous, as you have to steer the opposite way to go round corners, so they can take some time to adjust your brain. Just...

New Battery died after only 30 miles?

Most 1000w kits/ebikes have 25A controllers, so that battery would be just about suitable for them. As far as batteries are concerned, they're all suitable for 1000w motors. It's the controller that you have to match them to because it's the controller that regulates the max power. Your 30A...

Hydraulic brake upgrade. But magnets no workie..?

They're probably connected out of sequence. You can't see inside Julet connectors, which is why I never waste my time with them. Cut them off and join the wires.

Frog battery has blown cant get it back in the case

Yes it is. You don't get lipos (LiCO) in ebike batteries unless you made it yourself. Lithium Polymer and Lithium-Ion are only general terms with no real meaning in the general sense. Many ebike batteries are technically both. It's the exact chemistry that's important. What's in RC batteries...

New Battery died after only 30 miles?

That battery is hopelessly underrated for a 30A controller. The 15A on the controller means nothing, functionally. The only thing it does is regulate the current to max 30A. It would be immoral if you asked the supplier for a replacement. Unless the supplier changed something in the second one...

Frog battery has blown cant get it back in the case

No, they go under the general name of lithium-ion. There are technical terms and colloquial terms. Colloquially, lipos are the high discharge rate cells that are mainly used in RC models. They're much more volatile than ebike batteries. Technically, all lithium cells are lithium-ion. Different...

New Battery died after only 30 miles?

Lithium batteries and BMSs can't just fail like that. The cause of your problem is probably something simple, like a fuse or broken connection. What is the battery's current rating? Can it supply 30A continuous? Not many silver fish type can!

Distance between the tip of the front tire to the tip of the rear tire?

You can take both wheels off that bike in seconds. I have a Cykel towball rack, but I often just take the front wheel off and put the bike behind the front seats because I get more MPG, it's quicker and I can drive faster without worrying about the forces on the bike, plus it stays dry in the rain.

Frog battery has blown cant get it back in the case

Frog isn't a brand. It's the type of plastic case supplied by a case manufacturer. Anybody could have made their own cell-pack with any type of cells and put it in the case.
