    E-Mission Trike Planetary Gears

You can use any motor you want. A 24" motor wheel would be about £150 to £250 from China depending on postage or you can buy a complete kit for £204 from Yose on Ebay...

GPS Tracking on new Wisper Sport?

I think it's a bad idea. Most people won't want or need it, so you're putting your product at a price disadvantage for the sake of a few customers. Many people don't like subscriptions. If somebody wanted it, there are plenty of after market choices. The Van Moof has a similar system that...

New build: pas sensor intermittent cut-out

I had a magnet fall out once. It made the bike unrideable. You wouldn't think that something so small could make such a big difference. Yours is the second one with a wrong magnet in the last few weeks. Before that, I'd only seen heard of a couple in ten years.

New build: pas sensor intermittent cut-out

First thought is that a magnet is the wrong way round. If that's not it, there are settings in the LCD for what type of PAS you have, and, IIRC, another one for its sensitivity.

    Vekkit

I personally know a company that does fake reviews on their products/services and I've see evidence of them from other companies.

    motor problem

You need to test with a meter to see where the problem is. If you test the motor through the cable first, you'll know whether a new controller will sort it out.

    Help! Stretching dropout s

All you need to do is put M6 washers between the caliper and the frame to make it line up with the disc. When you spring the frame out, the disc mounting becomes a little bit out of line, so you might need some thin and thick washers and juggle them around until you get perfect alignment. I have...

    Fitting a 9 speed freewheel

You need to add spacers on the other side of the axke if you fit wider gears, otherwise the wheel will be off-centre, Is that what, you're saying? When you add spacers to the left side, the disc won't line up with the caliper if you have disc brakes, so you have to add spacers to either the disc...

    motor controller advise needed

39v is much too low for a fully charged battery. It should be around 42v.

Brompton / nano conversion - motor service

It's an Outrider Tongxin clone. I heard that Outrider took over Tongxin production. If they're identical, you'd be better off replacing it with a Q75/Aikema 75. Tongxins were never very robust or reliable and could only handle very low power, and they were sensorless.

    Throttle cable fries

The throttle is only 5v, so even a dead short wouldn't burn anything. If you short the 5v supply wire to ground, the 5v regulator will blow, but only after a fair while, and when it blows, it normally cuts off the 5v, so no consequential damage, You still haven't told us what motor and...

Help! Advice on choosing rear hub motor/kit

On the surface, something doesn't sound right because they both have about the same power. Mass is an important factor. Your all up weights are approx 12st and 15st, so she has a 25% advantage over you if you both pedal as hard as each other. Assuming similar fitness, a 12st bloke should be...

Help! Fiido D4S for heavy rider (145kg), and derestricting it.

At 145kg, you can forget about derestricting it. I doubt that you'll ever get past 15 mph unless you want to ride over Beachy Head, but you'd still reach 100 mph whether derestricted or not, so still no point.

    Throttle cable fries

You've blown the controller. The motor will unlock if you disconnect it fronm the controller. Tell us what you have and the circumstances of the failure, and we can probably explain what went wrong and why.

How to seperate Hailong battery from mount?

You need to carry a piece of wood that you can use as a lever between the bottom of the battery and the frame to push it up and off - only works if the battery is towards the bottom of the triangle.

Help! Advice on choosing rear hub motor/kit

That Woosh kit will blow your BBS01 into the weeds when it comes to climbing. It'll tow the unpowered BBS01 bike up the hill quicker than what the BBS01 bike could go on it's own.
