    Split/Shift, five day Commute.

There isn't a reset, though I know some got accidentally reset during disconnections. I think that in some circumstances the software can get zapped, then it reloads some defaults.

I always had my suspicions. It must have been the limp wrist. Back in the '60s when things were different, my dad always referred to his car as "he". When his sister (my aunt) asked why he did that when it was customary to refer to cars as "she", he said, "Mine's a good one. It's more reliable".

    Electric Bikes and Global Warming.

The human population has been running like a Ponzi scheme. The people at the top rely on an ever increasing number of new ones to support them. Both Japan and China felt the effect when there weren't enough new ones at the bottom. Ultimately, to prevent melt-down something will have to be done...

Oxygen CB Hybrid Mk I or Mk II

The newer version has a cassette motor and cassette (freehub) gears too, though there wasn't really anything wrong with the freewheel gears on the earlier versions. It's not a massive difference. Hydraulic brakes can be upgraded too for about £40. They're definitely worth having. If...

    Electric Bikes and Global Warming.

Project Veritas infiltrated CNN and got the truth direct from the horses mouth: https://neiuindependent.org/17351/news/fear-sells-says-cnn-director-charlie-chester/ More important than climate change is pollution, especially plastic waste. If you feel environmentally sympathetic, that's where...

    ERider moped Help

Never take notice of colours or markings. Always check with a meter to see which way round the wires or terminals are. I've only ever once seen a red negative and black positive, so you can bet on them being the right way, but it's still not 100%, so better to check. Blue and brown in chargers...

That LiitoKala battery, first use (maybe a thread to keep logging range)

That's pretty good for the price. What was the total cost including shipping and duty?

Is it a sensorless motor? How many wires in the motor cable? 3 = sensorless; 8 or 9 = sensored. What you describe regarding the roughish running is typical of a sensorless motor with a square wave controller running with a relatively high current. It smoothes out as the motor speeds up. I...

Intermittent power delivery from TONGSHENG TSDZ2 mid motor with torque sensor

If the power cuts and the LCD stays on, it's a problem between the control system and the motor. If the LCD goes off, it's a problem between the battery and the controller/LCD. the biggest cause of TSDZ2 cut-outs is the speed sensor not positioned correctly.

A 250w crank motor can multiply that force by about 4 times. Bicycle drive trains were never designed for those type of forces.

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

It's been known that it was man-made from the beginning, but there was a massive cover up by social media. Anybody that mentioned it was made in the Wuhan lab got cancelled. Now Facebook have admitted it and it's allowed for anybody to say so. The virus has the CGG-CGG gene sequence in it that's...

That's what the setting does. It's just a damping factor for the display. The voltage is jumping up and down all the time. The setting (P5) dampens down the display so that you can see the state of charge. It has no influence on how the bike works. There is a delay before the battery display...

Do they run at full speed with ebike controllers? I would have thought that the commutation speed might be too high.

    Small men's crossbar hybrid recommendations

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

96kg, health going gradually downhill and hills puts you on the limit of many of the common hub-drive kits. The Woosh 48v kits give a lot more torque than most, which should be enough to keep you going until you can't get your leg over.

Slight correction: 24v is 7 cells. Probably just a typo, otherwise you should have had another cup of coffeee to clear your head before starting your work.
