Panasonic throttle not working with Cycle Analyst

It doesn't help much. That Panasonic motor never had a throttle, nor a way to fit one. All the Cycle Analyst does is take inputs from sensors (throttle, PAS and/or anything else) and re-process them into a standard throttle signal that connects to the throttle input on a normal controller that...

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

Israel is the most vaccinated country in the world with 78.1% of the population had at least 2 doses on Sept5 2021. There is no proof that the vaccine reduces anything. There are just talking heads on the TV saying it. The cases go up and down regardless. The proportion of people in hospital...

Trying to fit pas sensor to shimano sora pedel

You have to take the bearing holders off and remove the spacers behind them. They're about 2.5mm thick each, so you gain 5mm. Sometimes the plastic magnet discs are thiker in the middle, in which case you grind it down to the same thickness as the outer bit. If you have an internal plastic...

    Cycling. Health. Covid. Diet.

But the vaccine doesn't work. 60% of the people in Israel hospitals with the virus have been double vaccinated. Even if it was a proper vaccine, it would only work against last year's variant, not new ones. The whole thing is an unsolvable mess, with loads of opportunists making a lot of money...

Trying to fit pas sensor to shimano sora pedel

You can only have it like mine if it's a left side or either side sensor. There's a good chance that it's a right side only sensor. You have to test it, like I said. I removed the bottom bracket spacers that sit behind the bearing holders and fitted the sensor bracket between the bearing...

    S866 controller ebike issues

I think the most likely cause of your problem is the setting for speed sensor magnets, which is P07, I think. How old is the bike? Does it have a speed sensor in the motor? Are you using an external speed sensor? What speed do you see on the display and when?

    Nexus Auto X

I think you're misunderstanding something. That's an auto-shifting gearbox. If it has AA batteries, they're only for the shifting. I guess it's similar to the Gocycle that has an auto 3-speed shifter, which is powered by an RC servo.

Panasonic throttle not working with Cycle Analyst

Is it using the original Panasonic controller, or does it have a Chinese replacement?

    Wisper 705 Throttle

You ca use any throttle you want, they all work the same; however, if your throttle has a switch or battery indicator in it, you'll probably want a throttle that has those two. There's nothing to stop you adding functions if you want them, like speed display. You don't need to worry about...

jimmy no longer recells bosch battery's !

£595 for a regular 36v 14Ah battery is ridiculous. You can buy new batteries for most if not all the bikes they list for half that price or less and same price as a brand new Bosch 500 battery. I can't see why anybody would use their service other than ignorance. Their ebike repair kit is very...

Trying to fit pas sensor to shimano sora pedel

The sensor type that you have is sometimes handed, so it will only work on one side of the bike. You should connect it to the controller, switch on and test in in your hand to see which way it works. There are two directions of rotation and two ways up you can have the magnet disc against the...

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

I've been on this forum for 11 years and made over 30,000 posts. Who made you the president of Pedelecs.co.uk, so you can tell people what and when to post? It seems that you just don't like to be wrong. When it's pointed out, you throw a tantrum. Anyway, I'll continue to post what I want when I...

    S866 controller ebike issues

Your bringing back memories from about 5 years ago. I'm pretty sure that's what I had with an installation. If not, something like it. There were some very unususual settings in the LCD. Luckily, there was a Chinese explanation of the settings in the listing that I managed to decypher enough to...

    Adding Throttle To E-Plus Bike??

Your bike has a control system that comprises a box of tricks with wires coming out of it that is the thing that controls the motor, a sensor that tells it when your pedalling and maybe an interface where you can adjust the power. The box of tricks that sits in the compartment that the battery...

    Split/Shift, five day Commute.

They won't know about old models. None of the original staff are still there. I used to fix their bikes for them. What is it that you want to know? BTW, I still have some parts for old models. I just checked one of the trapezium shaped batteries, while I was sorting out my garage. I hadn't...

    ERider moped Help

Set your meter to measure battery volts and put it on the two wires. It will show the same number whatever way round the probes are, but one way there will be a minus sign in front of the number. When the red probe is on the positive and the black on the negative, there will be no minus sign. If...

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

That's not true. We know exactly the contribution of the motor by how much battery is used, so for any journey, you can calculate the average power. Anecdotally, the average ebike usage is around 12wh/m at an average speed of about 12 mph, which is about 144 watts continuous. With 70% conversion...

    Electric Bikes and Global Warming.

It makes no difference, nobody can stop the universe becoming extinct. Most likely everything you have ever seen and known will be swallowed up by a black hole long before then, and the sun will have implded long before that. We will all be part of the same soup of vibrating energy, so John...

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

You're taking a worst case example. If you rode everywhere standing on the pedals with 137nM, I can gaurantee that you'll be replacing drive train components just the same as with a crank drive. We're talking about the difference between a leisure cyclist, cycling with an average input of 60w to...
