    Batteries from Nkon.nl anyone?

The P42a at wholesale looks a very good buy. I'm almost tempted into battery making for a 1P pack for my awkward framed old MTB.

    Batteries from Nkon.nl anyone?

P45b, not P42b. Higher power I.e. higher current, so opens up possibilities of fewer cells in parallel for a given max current, so small capacity lightweight battery pack would be their niche in ebikes. Their 45A continuous rating means you could do a 13s1p pack for nominal 48V, 4.5Ah, 216Wh...

    Moozido

Use common sense! If it looks too good to be true... My guess is if you try to buy a Haibike from them they will take your money, tell you it is out of stock, refuse a refund and point you towards the cheap alternatives at the bottom of their web page, which are generic hub drive bikes.

    Trailer hitch for e-bikes

Try it and see first. Worst case is improvise a mounting direct to the frame tubes as I did to overcome rack issues. Two layers of 1mm aluminium sheet and various layers of polythene cut from a cheap Lidl chopping board and stainless steel bolts.

Help! Front Brake for Fiido D21

Isn't it just a generic and very standard disc brake? In which case any caliper and lever with a long enough hose or cable will probably do the job.

    Does the dream ebike exist?

Plenty of small wheel folders out there, but retailers tend to focus on legally compliant 250W motors for some reason! Line of least resistance is to modify your requirements to expand the range of solutions. What is it about your transport need that a 250W bike can't do?

    5000 rear motor wheel nuts

Searching for 'M16 fine nut' will get you nuts, the rest you might have to improvise.

    5000 rear motor wheel nuts

Most metric screw threads have at least two pitch options, coarse and fine. Most bike axles use a fine thread because that means the core diameter is larger and so the axle is stronger. Most general purpose applications use the coarse thread, so often you have to seek out the fine version...

Bad start to the year for cyclists in Scotland

Two accidents, one fatal, and an untraced vehicle from a serious collision last year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-64457517 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-64452187 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cw4ky481l43o

Powacycle Milan 2 Battery Pack (LPX)

First place to look for additional screws is under any stuck on labels. If there is fierce resistance to being opened there will usually be more fixings. Pictures might help.

    What battery capacity?

So an hour of charging at a stop during your ride, at 4A for the fast charger? That's impressive range from no more than 9Ah.

    I need a cheap trailer ... for a Brompton

For half a mile and a few kg of load don't over think it! Plenty of pictures online of Bromptons with trailers attached to the rear axle, which is by far the most common arrangement, so perhaps look for cheapest secondhand kids trailer locally.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Sadly not! The 'big picture' explanation of global warming/heating/climate change is actually extremely simple. More energy is arriving from space i.e. from our sun than is leaving, and the difference is staying here. That accumulation of energy is stored as heat, and so the average...

    Wayfarer with full throttle.

Depends on how big a battery you have. Let's work on 36V 15Ah, which is 540Wh from full to flat. On relatively flat terrain, putting in no pedalling effort, you will probably consume 20 to 30Wh per mile, so range should be 18 to 27 miles. If you use less than full throttle you will go further...

Replacing Swytch 4 Pin brake sensor

Look at the sensor and the cable as well as the connector. What's going on inside? Is the cable a four core, or just a three core? Is the sensor a hall sensor, or some kind of switch? I don't have one to look at...

Mid drive watts vs human power

The motor will be in the region of 75 to 85% efficient by the time its output gets through its gearing to the crank, if your cadence lets it operate in it's best speed range, so for 200W electrical input I.e. from the battery, you will see 150 to 170W at the pedals. Unless there is a torque...
