Prices of the electricity we use to charge

There was a professor of some American University ( I didn't catch the name because I left the TV on without really watching while i got on with my work) invited by bbc news tonight to comment on the event. He said more or less the same like I said.

since when in recent history killing the top general of one army ends a war? For Israel, it's revenge but for Iran, it is not big enough a loss to change the war or anything big enough to send another bunch of missiles.

it's really a minor aspect of any war. Soldiers and politicians have that in common. Just look at Labour's leadership. Do you think losing their leaders in Miliband and Corbyn was bad for Labour? It won't take more than 2-5 years to replace a few thousands out of millions of newly hurt people...

I don't think Netanyahu has wiped out a few thousands but won't be able to go any further. Those who died can also very quickly be replaced. Iran has sea and air defences, a vast territory and industrial muscle. Nothing like gaza or Lebanon.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

There was a recent court case. The defendant had a patent to make electricity out of electron spin. Yes, he's got a patent for it. That says a lot about the US patent system. The plaintiff spent about $5 millions buying one of the defendant's kit. Instead of generating power, his electricity...

there is little more that Netanyahu can do now. Biden has threatened him with withdrawing some military support. He has to retreat. Neither Harris nor Trump wants war in the middle East.

I have no idea what that clip was about. Harris is increasing her lead in the last week. Trump is showing signs of decline. Will he last the next 3 weeks?

he's no better than those he criticises. The first point is simply ridiculous. I bet you can't find many examples of government paying for answers they want. The second point shows the shallowness of his argument. Nuclear power generation is expensive, especially if you add to the cost of...

Straight from the horse's mouth! Boris Johnson: Tories allowed migration to soar because we couldn’t stack shelves. The former prime minister defended the surge in migration from 184,000 in 2019 to a record peak of 764,000 in 2022 because businesses and government departments were “freaking...

That guy's argument is nobody knows the level of CO2, or what was the level in the past. He clearly knows his audience. They don't want to be informed. It's much easier for his reasoning that his audience won't fack check him.

Do any cadence sensored hub motor controllers activate pedal assist when ghost pedalling backwards as well as forwards?

I've tried this way a couple of times, not fantastic but it seems to work well enough. You press and hold the - button to start the bike. When the bike moves, start pedalling. When the bike moves fast enough, release the - button. Torque sensors work well too with this maneuver.

Do any cadence sensored hub motor controllers activate pedal assist when ghost pedalling backwards as well as forwards?

Next time you come to Southend, I will show you how clever the king meter DH pedal sensor (all black) is when used with a controller programmed for it. You can't start the motor by pedalling backward whichever way you fit the sensor and the magnet disc. If you plug in the same controller a...

Do any cadence sensored hub motor controllers activate pedal assist when ghost pedalling backwards as well as forwards?

You can do that but it's extremely dangerous. Let's say you are at the traffic lights and the lights are red. If you move accidentally your cranks backward, you can cause an accident. This said, there are two ways that the controllers can be programmed: for single Hall or for dual Hall. Single...

there seems to be a method in his apparent madness. Harris lead is narrowing and oddcheckers is now putting him on top. He monopolises the media with his silly non sense. He takes the oxygen out of Harris camp, forcing Harris to spend money on ads instead. He is a master of this craft. Harris...
