    First attempt ebike conversion

If you can find a spare bit of time, try the search function on here and read some recent threads mentioning Woosh and Wisper. That should help your confidence in choosing a kit from one or a bike from either.

    Cube Reaction hardwork

It would be straightforward for anyone who has their own torque sensor bike to have a quick ride on your wife's bike and give an informed opinion. And the dealer will know immediately from their experience of many bikes if it is behaving as it should. I would not rule out them being right about...

Gardener choosing a bike for pulling a trailer around a city

Interesting selection. A couple of people I know have small wheel cargo bikes, mainly used for their child carrying abilities. Not what you asked about, but I have learnt two things about small wheeled bikes from them, which might be helpful. First, they ride great, no stability issues...

Swytch Pro/Max yellow battery connector secrets revealed?

Fair enough. For me it depends on how easy it is to open, and whether there is a chance of a very simple answer once I can see inside. I have to admit to having dismantled many more things than I have mantled.

    VLCD5 Thumb Throttle.

I seem to remember there is an 8 way cable option when throttle is wanted, but that it originates inside on the motor controller board.

Swytch Pro/Max yellow battery connector secrets revealed?

I have no Swytch experience, just a dangerous amount of curiosity. I would be looking at the thing that plugs in to the switch connector, to work out what it does to switch the Swytch battery on... if not shorting out the wires (I'm assuming only 2 in that connector?), does it perhaps apply a...

    Cheapest bike on Amazon

Anyone UK based could have had a 500Wh Shimano E6100 motor reasonable spec road ebike brand new slightly shop soiled last week in Wiggle's sale for under £600. Still worth keeping an eye on them and chain reaction in case more good stuff to come.

    Fazua motor settings?

Play to learn, but it sounds exactly wrong for you, sadly. But your speed plus load carrying is perfect for a beefy rear hub if not too hilly, or high torque mid drive if it is.

    Fazua motor settings?

Go into the settings and in one of the three things, say rocket, set everything to the maximum and try again. Also, accept going a bit slower to begin with, certainly do not expect big beefy rear hub cadence sensor speeds, and make sure you are are spinning the pedals fast enough. Minimum 60...

Help! Used E-Bike pricing and selling suggestions

In your case the big issue is how much warranty time remains. Out of warranty, no matter low mileage or high original cost, people won't take the risk of an expensive repair, so 40-60% is as high as can be expected. It might look better when spring comes!

Charger with ability to undercharge / change charge speed - UK Based

I'm spoilt with my calorie counting Shimano batteries! One bar is 25 minutes on a 418Wh battery and 30 minutes on a 504Wh with my 4.6A fast chargers, 2.5 times as long on the standard 1.8A slow charger.

Charger with ability to undercharge / change charge speed - UK Based

Another way is 2A charger and a timer, and learn how long it probably needs depending on led display or voltage.

Grin satiator. Canada, but will travel. Ebikes.ca. Expensive.

Wisper Wayfarer M7 age and granny gearing

I do about 6000 miles a year, so drivetrain is a relatively short term consumable. I keep an eye on ebay, wiggle, chain reaction etc and maintain stock of at least one cassette, one chain. Ebay has cassettes at £45 and 114 link chains at £12 at present. I buy several 114 chains and swap them...
