    Commuting bike

Hi Paola, I have a A2B Kuo+ which I've really been enjoying. It's a folding bike but it can be folded, tipped back and wheeled. My journey to work is 6.5 miles each way. I have also tested the Freego Folder Light - it's a great bike, it's a tad lighter than my Kuo and the inbuilt battery is...

    My new Kuo+

Monday turned out to be a bad day.... I always planned to cycle Mon, Wed and Fri to work this week. Monday came and it was chucking it down, but I thought "I can't just not cycle because of the rain"... So I set off. I got to work like a drowned rat.... I'm like the opposite of the common...

    My new Kuo+

Thank you both for you advice - I've been looking at the Selle Royal Drifter Plus on Amazon... it's pretty weighty but shouldn't really matter as i don't really carry the bike. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Selle-Royal-Drifter-Relaxed-Saddle/dp/B009O0CVPY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 Are the...

    My new Kuo+

After much help and advice on these forums - I ordered my Kuo+ folding bike. It's taken what felt like a lifetime, as I got the bike through the cyclescheme, but it's worth the wait. I collected the bike on Friday evening from Valley E-Bikes in Bolton (who gave a great service - including...

Mid crank drive motor - what type of gears are best?

The Freego battery is removable. I tested both today and I really enjoyed both. I prefer the hub gears but the fold seemed less cumbersome on the Kuo+, and I was able to tip it and roll it when folded... So I think I'm going to go ahead with the Kuo+ :).

Mid crank drive motor - what type of gears are best?

Thanks all - super interesting reading. I tested a Freego Folding Light last weekend, I was impressed with it and this weekend I'm trying the Kuo+ to compare. Both are hub motors, the Freego has 3 speed hub gears vs a 7 speed derailleur.

Mid crank drive motor - what type of gears are best?

Thank you for your help. I am looking at Dahon conversionbikes from CH White and Son.... OR..... Buying a donar bike and kit... Anywhere you recommend CD kits that will fit a folder? (And also a company that will fit said kit). Found this bike with automatic hub gears...

Mid crank drive motor - what type of gears are best?

Thank you - that really helps. What is your opinion on deraileurs and crank drive motors? And any ideas about Bafang vs GSM? Is it worth paying extra for Bafang?

Mid crank drive motor - what type of gears are best?

In my search for a folding ebike that I can wheel easily, I've been looking at Dahon conversions. (Incase anyone hasn't read my other posts - My commute is 6 miles, I want a folder I can fold and then tilt on its wheels to roll - the Dahons do this. No public transport to go on, just want a...

Folding bike advice for heavy rider

I think I was put off as when I phoned Woosh, they said I'd brake the spokes regularly. As someone with very little bike maintenance experience, this put me off. The kudos secret is still a very likely option, but just researching things before I take the plunge. Been looking at conversions...

Volt Metro / BH Emotion EasyGo Volt / Kuo+

That's brill! Thanks for confirming for me - my mind was boggled. Haha! Last questions... 1. Do you still have stock of full throttle ones? 2. Are they all black now like in that pic I attached (i.e black seat post, chain ring etc) - as I prefer that 3. Do you know the folded dimensions...
