    Hello from Norwich

Hi Simon I live near Aylsham. Bought a Freego Eagle about 8 weeks ago. So far done 500 miles. You will lose weight and get fitter with a pedelec as you still need to peddle. I do find I can travel further than I used to on my old sub £200 mountain bike. Head winds and hills are also a LOT...

    Freego £100 cash back

Hi Nichodia. I was fortunate that my retailer did the paperwork for me. Have a look at the Freego website for details, I think you have to send them proof of purchase and frame number. You still have time and a few minutes work could be worth £100. Hope you manage to get it sorted. Enjoy your...

How to remove the key from the immobiliser lock on a Freego Eagle?

Having thought about it Andy I can also see the sense in it. When you want to lock your bike the key is always there. My Eagle also came with a water bottle, good idea about using the clip on that. Thanks.

    Freego £100 cash back

As a new convert to electric bikes I would like to say how pleased I have been with the professional service and attitude of both retailer and manufacturer. Having test ridden 4 different bikes I chose a Freego Eagle which I bought from Electrifying Cycles in Cromer, Norfolk. They have been a...

How to remove the key from the immobiliser lock on a Freego Eagle?

Dave The wheel lock key is not really a big deal. My initial reaction was to put both keys on the same key ring which of course you can't do. On reflection, the fact that the key has to remain in the lock when the lock is not in use is not a problem as it does mean you always have the key with...

How to remove the key from the immobiliser lock on a Freego Eagle?

Thanks James. Obvious, but I hadn't thought of it. As it happens I have one of these little key ring clips on my car key that held a shopping trolley token. Have lost the token but now have a use for the clip!

How to remove the key from the immobiliser lock on a Freego Eagle?

Thanks for the quick reply. Discovered the cause of the rattle. There is an alloy strip that the battery slides down on when on the bike. This is held in place by one screw which was loose allowing the battery to move about and rattle. Tightened it up before using the bike today but within...

How to remove the key from the immobiliser lock on a Freego Eagle?

Hi Smee Just bought an Eagle, it was delivered today. My first discovery after putting the battery and bike lock keys on the same key ring - you can't remove the wheel lock key so have to keep them separate! Cycled 18 miles today which I enjoyed despite the weather, bit of a rattle I think from...
