i've got 15 mm, the chain can probably go right another mill or so before it catches the side of the swingarm tunnel it runs through, if i have to, i'll cut a small part of the outer swing arm out for the chain, but, i was measuring from the edge of the nut that secures the crank into the BB...

I am thinking about 2 of them my self, one for my giant revive semi-recumbent, and one for the GF's hybrid style bike, My bike should be no probs, has a 7 speed nexus hub and a 48t chainwheel atm, but my GF's bike has derailleur gears with a 3 wheel crank, would have to loose the 3 wheel crank...
