    Help with conversion kit choice

Bafang BBSHD 1000w 52V plus 20Ah battery. And you will be more than satisfied. Such a motor will give you a range of at least 35 miles without any problems. Range of several factors, but that 35 miles is pretty much a guarantee in all scenarios, including climbs, sometimes severe ones. You'll be...

    Hello, new to forum.

How do you know it's a fake sticker? How do you recognise that a sticker is not genuine? Who is there to assess the originality of the sticker? How do you know that an e-bike sold in a shop has 250W and not 350W/500W? Because that's what the seller/manufacturer says or is it so on the sticker...

    Hello, new to forum.

Each kit comes with a legalisation sticker for 250W. So no worries. Especially as, from what we read, the bike will be used mostly off road. Besides, the police have no policy to randomly check bicycles. I know this from a very good source ;) Naturally, if you commit a crime, the investigation...

    Hello, new to forum.

Why not look at the Bafang BBS02 or BBSHD (1000W). With 160 NM The pedal torque sensor is pointless in my opinion. Because the idea is to improve fitness, health a bit. So sometimes it is better to press down harder on the pedal yourself for your own health and not have the motor do all the work...

    Hello, new to forum.

And don't buy the cheapest new bike at Halfords, for example, either! I made this mistake because it don't want to convert my current bike. I spent £145 on a new bike that is falling apart! I've already replaced wheels, freewheel, brakes, saddle (it's more for comfort and convenience, e-bike...

    Hello, new to forum.

It will be cheaper and much better to convert your current (if you have one or buy a new (used) one for conversion) bike to an e-bike. Best for you would be a mid drive motor e.g. BAFANG 750W or 1000W. You will be able to go uphill easily. I know, because I have one myself and can climb a 230m...

    Head and tail lights kit.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks. This is why I like all kinds of forums. Before I buy something I don't know, it's always better to ask, because maybe someone has had their own experience with something. Thanks for this answer. Why not for much longer?

    Head and tail lights kit.

    Head and tail lights kit.

Is it possible to buy somewhere, a set of lights for the bike, front and rear, so that they connect to the bafang controller? I currently only have the front light that came with the kit. At the back I have a cheap battery light rechargeable via USB, everything would be ok, only this light...

    A different display connection.

Thanks. So it is a hardware issue. Since my motor has a controller based on the UART protocol there is no chance of an adapter to CANbus. Do I understand this correctly?

    A different display connection.

I wanted to buy a display for my Bafang BBSHD with Bluetooth I found something like the one pictured, however - I see a completely different plug shape there. In the description it says it's for the BBSHD motor, but, in my bike it's a round plug and here it's some sort of shaped plug. Are there...

    Best e-bike app?

I was more concerned with something related to navigation, running information such as distance, time, average speed ect. I am currently using cyclers and testing bikemap. I was wondering if anyone else is using something else and what the opinions are. As for a watch, I've had a Huawei GT264...

Help! Question for Bafang 850C dispaly owners.

No problem for me, with soldering (electrionics used to be my hobby a long time ago), but I don't want to open something that has a warranty. If in a year, when the problem returns, I will either sell this display (buy Bluetooth) or change the battery physically.
