Bosch Explains All the forthcoming new regulations

Remember he was talking about E mountain bikes, not road/commuter bikes. The current speed limit cut off is pretty irrelevant off road, but power and how it is delivered is relevant on technical steep climbs. Downhill again the cut off speed and even the need for any assistance at all is...

E bike or Emtb for commute!

Commuting on the Road with no big hills would suit a cadence sensor rear hub motored bike. I had both a rear hub Chinese derived bike and a Haibike hardtail Yamaha motored crank drive bike and for road riding the simple rear hub bike was superior. The crank drive mountain bike came in to its...

A Solution to Punctures for Fellow Bike Enthusiasts....

You do not need to spend £35 for a Schwalbe “puncture-proof” tire . When I bought a new one recently {04 10 2024} it cost me £13 plus delivery postage for a Land Cruiser Plus. Just shop around.

Haibike sDuro HardSeven SL 2015 Yamaha (7 Month 1600 Miles)

Surrey Snow, Very Rare Godalming to Haslemere yesterday, mostly off road, via Milford, Thursley and the Devils Punchbowl On...my canbus hardtail Yamaha Haibike now approaching (March 2025) ten years old and 20,000 miles plus. TONIGHT 9pm: - E-Bikes: The Battle for Our Streets - Panorama

Both the D Mail and Torygraph seem to have it in for Electric bikes, although also non electric bikes versus cars in general are written about, usually in a way to antagonise their readership in their hatred of free loading bike riders clogging up their precious roads.

    Wisper 705 Playing up

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08HQHW4LS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 I bought one of these re-chargeable compressors, really for motorcycle trips abroad, but it has proved annoyingly useful.

    Getting back on......

My last crash, I've had a few, was on the platform of a railway station. Now retired and armed with my free travel pass after a 12 year last career spell working for The Railway, I am in the habit of catching the train from my Town with no Lidl, to the next bigger Town nearby, doing a circuit...

I have been a bit slow to pick up on your accident soundwave. Sounds quite a fall. I hope you start to feel a bit better soon.

Has anyone successfully used the 6 year rule for a failed Bosch motor?

Probably where you bought the bike is the first place to chat to. Mine replaced my Yamaha motor right at the end of the two year warranty. They were very good. Once outside the warranty period Peter at what used to be called Performance Line Bearings is very good, and if he fixes it, it will be...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Hi guerney I got defaulted to Octopus after my energy company went bust, and do actually quite like them. I got a similar email about my electricity meter needing replacing. I ignored it and will ignore any other emails, as like you, I like my dumb meters. I am sure from their point of view...
