I have just bought my 5th Giant Lafree (Comfort) in 12 years. I bought it to use as spares - particularly for the battery but it turned out to be a very comfortable bike so I thought I would use my 9-year-old for spares instead.
However it has been downhill all the way since! And not in a good way. It has had very little use but on closer examination I wonder if it was in a crash/accident and then stored away. The off/on/eco switch has stopped working - and then horror of horrors my original bike (locked and datatagged) was STOLEN.
So here I am, a Lafree which I have paid to have new tyres, gears, etc which does not work, all attempts at spares have failed!!! EEK.
