When I was younger my favourite thing in the world was cycling with no hands. Then, I was at my most content.
Now, I’m an outdoorsy person with the body of an indoorsy person: I have fluctuating, long-term health conditions and am bedbound at worst, housebound often, and at my best I still struggle with walking distances.
I’m looking for a hybrid or off-road bike with a throttle as I can’t always peddle, even without applying real pressure.
Yes, I’m aware of current regulations, but frankly, for me it’s a throttle or no cycling and no outdoorsiness.
If there’s another option, please let me know - bearing in mind I can be a bit of a speed freak!
I’m looking for a bike to take me off-road on the Sussex Downs, up dirt tracks in Scotland, and also on the roads or along the beachfront with my husband and the kids (9 & 11).
It’s my 42nd birthday in two days and I’m looking for an e-bike as a present for myself. Being disabled and having to work around my illness, the bike will need to be available on Finance. I have a tight budget but expansive plans.
Essentially, I want the moon on a stick - ie: to regain my independence in style!
