West Yorkshire based Pennine Sports Ltd has launched their first range of British designed and Taiwanese manufactured electric bikes this month.
The EZEGO range comprises of four models aimed at the leisure and commuter market, with prices starting at £999.
David Pratt, Marketing Director for Pennine Sports Ltd said that the EZEGO bike brand has “been positioned within the UK market at a highly competitive price point, without sacrificing on style and quality.”
James Walsh, Managing Director of Pennine Sports, added: “The decision to produce our e-bikes in Taiwan was easy, the Taiwanese reputation for manufacturing high quality bikes is known across the cycle industry. We felt this was essential to the success of the brand, and to ensure compliance with all relevant EU regulations/standards.”
The range is available to buy online but David told Pedelecs that the company “truly value the role independent cycle retailers will play in building this exciting new brand, and we look forward to working with our growing retailer network to that end.”
