Channel 4’s Extraordinary Escapes will tonight demonstrate the practicalities of using electric bikes to explore all Kent has to offer.
The programme features Sandi Toksvig, who recently departed her role co-hosting Bake Off, alongside various celebrity friends while they visit quirky bolt-holes and getaways in Suffolk, The Cotswolds, Scotland and windmills and nature reserves in Kent.
Batribike told Pedelecs: “The latest Channel 4 series, Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig, started last week. This Wednesday’s episode, which airs at 21.00, was filmed in Kent. It starts with Sandi and guest, Jessica Hynes, riding through the countryside on Batribike electric bicycles. The pair are obviously enjoying themselves with hoots of laughter as they cross a cattle grid. Sandi, who has a shorter stature, looked extremely comfortable on the Batribike Nova-S whilst Jessica rode the Batribike Vista-S.”
The bikes were supplied by Batribike stockist the UK Electric Bike Centre, which offers sales and e-bike hire from its premises at Biddenden in Kent
