EBC have announced they are to launch the Bergamont brand in the UK at this week’s NEC Cycle Show in Birmingham. The company will be exhibiting on Stand H131 in Hall 12.
Having started out as a small bicycle repair shop in Hamburg in 1993, Bergamont are now one of Germany’s leading manufacturers and an established brand name on the continent. Their latest e-bikes will be available to see and test ride for the first time in the UK at the NEC Cycle Show, with the bikes available from retailers shortly afterwards.
The Bergamont E-line C MGN (RRP £3000) with Nuvinci N360 Planetary hub gear, Gates Carbon Drive and Sram XO Hydraulic Brakes will be available to demo at the NEC. The company say the bike will also be featured on The Gadget Show this coming November.
EBC’s Paul Stanforth told Pedelecs: “Introducing Bergamont electric bikes into the UK is an exciting development for EBC, who see themselves as the leading UK company in both distribution and service in this rapidly growing sector. As electric bikes become more mainstream and off-road performance e-bikes are gaining a real foot-hold, Bergamont’s range of German-engineered high specced and highly developed (in both style and performance) has an electric bike for everyone looking for a quality product.”
The NEC Cycle Show runs from the 25th to 28th of September, more details here.
