Last week, Coventry Transport Museum saw Batribike unveil its latest vintage-style electric bike. The electric bike is part of a revival of the classic British motorcycle brand, Francis-Barnett.
Bringing technology right up to date, Batribike has an exclusive licence to produce the Francis-Barnett electric bike, with classic styling and heritage green paintwork.
Francis-Barnett was a Coventry based, British motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1919, by Gordon Inglesby Francis and Arthur Barnett.
The pair developed a range of bikes, the last of which left the factory in 1966, at which time a British motoring institution was lost – until this year. A resurgence of the classic brand also sees the launch of two motorcycle models hand-built in the UK.
Retailing at £1499, the new Francis-Barnett e-bike has been developed over the last two years by Batribike where it is now being hand finished in Lincolnshire.

Our design team has worked hard to ensure every detail of the bike honours the vintage styling and values of Francis-Barnett’s wonderful machines of yester-year,” says Steve Coulson, Managing Director of Batribike.
