Electric bike exhibitors at this year’s Bike Expo have increased by 26% above last year’s number. In its third year, an entire hall is being devoted to e-bikes and pedelecs where manufacturers such as Kalkhoff, BionX, Haibike will be presenting their latest products.
Bike Expo, the annual bike fair of Messe München GmbH, is experiencing a mini-rush on exhibition space. In its third year of existence, Bike Expo has clearly established itself in the 2-wheel industry as one of the major events on the annual exhibition calendar – in all areas, including mountain bikes, racing bikes, city bikes or electric bikes.
Test Track
ExtraEnergy e.V. will be responsible for the electric 2-wheel area. The E-mobility Hall will be back this year in an even bigger format. The Test IT Track will encircle the internal exhibition surface almost entirely and will include two ramps. Visitors will enter the E-mobility Hall under a ramp and then move to the so-called Action Section in the hall with a bridge over the test track.
In addition, there will be a Demo Day for the first time this year on the day before the fair starts, ie. on 20 July, in Bikepark Samerberg. Here e-bike riders will have their own 3.5 km test track running through little hamlets in the Samerberg valley. Racing and mountain bike riders will also have the opportunity to test their vehicles.
