Link just shows blank ebay page for me. Pasting the link location ( http://bit.ly/1fdAiTE ) into a browser works, so it seems pedelecs is corrupting it. Don't click this short link, it won't work, just copy and paste it into a browser so pedelecs can't alter it.

Those BMW 2002 cars were indeed very sporting in their day, pity about the cheap and nasty "basin and lid" body though. An electric version could be fun.

You think bikes can be a nightmare to fit kits to. I wouldn't know where to start fitting batteries and motors into a car. This link to that page might work better:

No, same link problem Fordulike, it's pedelecs corrupting it.

Pasting this link into a browser works: http://bit.ly/1fdAiTE

Pedelecs seems to be trying to decode the short link when it's clicked, but leaving the destination link corrupted.

This is the correct destination link which can be clicked:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ebaymotors/All-Electric-BMW-Model-2002-Year-1976-/321385596967?clk_rvr_id=624715325101&forcev4exp=true

And this is what pedelecs does to it:

Odd, it's just that very long link that Pedelecs produces that doesn't work for me. The original location link and the short link are both ok.

Just investigated further and this is what I found. If I take off this last section after the ebay item number of that very long Pedelecs link:

&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg

It's that added last part that brings up the blank page. The first half in a browser does work fine, though it doesn't work as a link in Pedelecs.

Weird!

I don't have any of these connection problems in any other website, nor in the old pedelecs site. It's just this new host that's giving these problems regularly, and not just me, judging by the number of queries about failed inserted links.

How weird, I tried the link on my PC using IE, Firefox and Chrome. All ok.
Then I tried it on my iPad using Safari. Ok too.
To top it off, I tried it on my Nexus 7 using Chrome and that was fine too.
Was gonna dig out the Commodore 64 in the loft, but sense got the better of me :D

I'm doing it on PC, but there seems no consistency to these problems. The various posts about problems in the
Site announcements, feedback, and support forum show how variably these problems affect members.

Not to worry, I usually find a way around them when they crop up, but I am curious as to why I only get troubles on this site. It's also intriguing why the pedelecs site alters your link into such a huge one that's so different from both the original location URL and the short link. I've never known any site software which changes links in such a way.
