been at it an hour and still cant get the fkn thing on the rim, if this is easy id hate to fit a hard 1.

cant even feel my fingers any more covers it in washing up fluid and still cant get the last bit done.

No doubt those four layers of carcase on the sides are making it difficult to get both beads into the rim well on the opposite side.

At risk of teaching granny to suck eggs, work the beads into the well of the rim on the opposite side and tie, tape or strap the tyre and rim tightly close together at that point. Have the valve at the last point you are trying to get the tyre over the rim edge.

That should do the trick. Once on, shove the valve up to sit it's seat above the beads and centre the tyre on the rim.

its going on just have to do a bit a leave it to stretch a tad and do the next bit and use more fairy liquid.

i got leavers so can use those each end to hold the tyre in place but still a pita.

and then off up garage to pump it up as no way ill do it with a foot pump.

well that took 3hrs to fit a tyre and 50p to pump it up.:rolleyes:



just need to fit magic mary on the front:(
