February 14, 20188 yr Hi...I'm looking to sell my Oxygen bike, I bought it in August 2016 so it's still under warranty. I am pretty sure John would honour the warranty as I intend buying the step through version of the same bike. (I'm 78 and feel I would be safer on a step through) It is in excellent condition...a few surface marks from when it's locked up on my daily newspaper collection. It's done 3670 miles and runs great, I'd gladly swap it for the ST version of the same bike ...Anyone like to make me an offer ? I live in Wakefield .....Perhaps Flecc would be kind enough to value it for me. ...cheers....Mike
February 14, 20188 yr Mike, you can do your own valuation. Bike price new minus age devaluation. 1 year old -- 25% 18 months -- 30% 2 year old -- 35% 3 year old -- 45%. then subtract new battery replacement price, then add to this figure the residual battery value. In your case 1/4 value of a new battery. Formula for battery is based on 2 years. So battery new £££ divide 24 months = monthly value or xy figure. So your xy = £££ calendar month x 6 = residual value. Hope this makes sense, this is the basis of Flecc's used market value.
February 17, 20188 yr Mike Are you able to add any photo's and give an indication how much you'd expect to get for it? Gaz
