I've been using this to test some recycled high drain 26650 cells. It seems to work pretty well once I'd worked out the simple controls, which aren't explain well in the instructions. It charges and discharges any cell that you can fit in it (26650s can just about be fitted 3 at a time). It's fully automatic and shows how many mAhs have gone in or out. You can do 4 cells at a time. Each channel works completely independently. The display can be switched to show voltage, mAh, time or current.

It says the max discharge rate is 1000ma. Is this total or per cell, will it discharge all 4 cells at 1a each at the same time?

That's a nice bit of kit. Wouldn't it be cool if they could manfacture something similar, but to test capacity at 12/24/36/48+ volts.

Discharges and charges at anything up to 1 amp per channel, so all 4 can be discharged at 1 amp. charging is up to 1 amp if all 4 channels are used. if only 2 are used, you can go up to 2 amps per channel.

I found another interesting feature. It will also give you the internal resistance in milliohms of each cell.
