Agree that those statistics are open to all kinds of manipulation depending what you want to exacerbate, so wouldn't read too much into it. Best thing to do is not leave your battery in the e-bike if parked up.

I commute on my Brompton when the weather is nice, simple to fold away under my bench at work and with the basket bag on the front it carries an amazing amount of stuff so you don't need to use a rucksack.

In keeping with my original review and updates on our bikes(we have 2 Wayfarers), i made a rear mount today at work to carry my D-lock on the bike. Bonus security feature is that it also stops anyone trying to have my panniers away!

I think that's taking it a bit extreme but each to their own i guess. I personally am really not fussed about it, i only mentioned it here as i thought it might be useful information if your looking to buy a Wisper Wayfarer.

Old question but someone might find it relevant. The blue light is on the battery itself, to show the battery is switched on. The red/green light the manual refers to is on the charger not the battery, red is charging, green is fully charged.

The only time i felt we needed brake cut-off sensors on our Wayfarer is negotiating through those metal hoop barriers you get at the ends of footpath/alley ways, where you go left, right, left to get through them, the motor can kick in with half a turn of the pedals just when you don't want it...

We have 2 Wisper Wayfarers and a Woosh Rambletta in the family, and aside from a couple of niggles they've all been excellent purchases. Aftersales has been excellent for both too.

I've had a reply from Wisper uk. The wayfarer with the AKM motor will need a software update and after that it will ride the same as our other one.

I'm slowly getting more info on this searching internet. The later 2022 Wayfarer uses an AKM motor and the earlier Wayfarer uses an SY motor. Wisper list each controller specific to the motor, and they're not interchangeable as connections and number of wires is different. Presume the later...
