Help! Need new Controller for colorway ebike

There could be a fuse inline, or simply dirty contacts to the battery pack, it only take connecting a battery once with its power turned on to generate sparks bangs and damage to the contacts.. if the sprung clamp and spade type connectors a lil sandpaper to clean and a lolly stick to bend back...

Got a cargo/Fat tyre Ebike 250watt are you sick of being told to get of cycle lanes and being shouted at by the uneducated

My disarming secret is a simple tinkly bell.. As yet no one has failed to crack a smile on being interrupted by the persistent and piercing tinkle of the bell on my bike, I think the sight of a huge lummox like myself with a tinkly bell on their bike simply breaks norms and expectations. The...

    Orbea gain lights

    Orbea gain lights

How built in is the lamp with the overide switch? sorry not familiar with your bike. If an accessible aspect of the bike it seems opening and inspecting/cleaning/testing the switch is clean and functional, as well as confirming the on/off positions would be a good first step. A simple...

Best oil or grease for Freewheel

its a bike, any lubricating grease you have access to is good enough. a squirt or 3 from anyone's grease gun into the corner of a ziplock bag is all you need. and avoid pressure washers and restricted flow hose pipes when washing the bike in future..

    Battery stuck

Try lubricating the lock, if no oil/grease at hand try a HB pencil and rub the lead over the key. Then retry to open the lock fully jiggling the key as you go. Once off split the battery case and replace the lock with a new one from ebay (circa £5). If still no luck check out youtube for ebike...

Hello, thinking about a conversion kit

Describe or provide specs of the hills in question. - not too many round here but its all downhill from here so every trip home was a chore.. - post conversion i sail up all the hills though none are longer than 1/2 mile climbing. If your hills are more demanding, If you can provide their...

?? pedals moving on their own?? is the rear wheel rolling driving the chain and therefore the crank?? sounds like a fouled rear wheel freewheel mechanism?? Did you previously need to engage pedal assist intentionally and now find its on without selecting? snap a pic or 2 of the...

    Freego bike spares and/or repairs

Whats the problem with your bike? I dont know your bike specifically, but google showed me a pretty generic folder with a hub drive and ?? silverfish? style battery pack. So Unless your heart is set on a new bike Its probably a straight forward fix if your comfortable with a screwdriver...

    Hello from new user

google suggests yours is a novel enough bike to attract unwanted attention so ALL the security Tips apply such as never park/leave the bike in a 'regular' spot .. Luggage wise see how you get on with the backpack for now, if it becomes a burdon or uncomfortable/restrictive, you can address that...
