Aged 54 and returning to cycling after a long illness (ME). I firmly believe in cycling as transport, not just a sunday pastime. I believe that a safe and comprehensive network of cycle routes will be greatly beneficial to public healh.

I also firmly believe in high taxation on motor fuel, both to allow public transport to have an existence and to encourage fuel efficiency and the use of other transport eg bikes.
