And how much would that cost out of interest? I'm paying £35 x 12 months for the full kit above. Only paid the first month so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am using it in pedal assist mode. I do not use the thumb throttle. As I also keep stating, I have purchased a 1000w kit and therefore I firmly believe that the one year warranty should apply to a reasonable battery condition after one year of use in the unrestricted condition that I have...

The 1.5C calculation guideline is helpful. It feels like I should have been sold a higher capacity battery for my 1000w kit, e.g. 16Ah battery This is the warranty information, perhaps I should consider paying £100 to extend it to 2 years…it includes range drop to under 6 miles...

Yes, a few of my friends have suggested it's in the area of a motorbike! Attached is a picture of my other 'powered two wheeler'. This one certainly is a motorbike however a bit more restricted in where I can actually ride it [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi there, thanks that explanation is helpful. In fact I am generally using PAS3 and only PAS4 when the road is very flat and smooth. Also by significantly changing the gearing, I am now adding a good amount of effort myself through pedalling . My comments above where when I was simply testing...

I'm afraid I completely disagree. I must admit I am somewhat disappointed with the use of the word robbing! I have purchased 1000 W unrestricted kit from Cyclotricity, for which I paid a significant premium over the restricted kit. At no point in any of the literature or material was it stated...

It was sold as a warranted complete kit by a reputable manufacturer and still covered by warranty with them. My expectation is for a high quality set of components. I will pick it up with Cyclotricity. It's possible that my reports are misrepresentative. I have travelled over 20 miles on one...

About time for a quick follow up.....The bike is brilliant! My rear wheel alignment is all corrected, and I have gone from a 22/44 front gearing to 26/48 and the new gearing is spot on for pedaling and cruising at 22mph. I commuted to work in 25 minutes which would have taken me 45mins...

No longer have a car, new to Ebikes...

Another option is to buy a half decent used bike like this one... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322467488578 I had a similar older version which I bought new in the sale for £500 (vs Rrp £800). Used it occasionally for a few years at stag dos in Wales, then hardly touched it. I bought a 1000W...

I see. OK, and as for mounting the pannier bags? Would need an extra tube each side for clipping to? I don't wish to come across as reluctant, but the conversion took me a lot more time and effort than expected (which is tricky for me with demanding young kids and missus counting my time in the...
